Could not have said it better. I went into this extremely skeptical, but after sitting down to attentively watching episode 1, I was hooked. Can’t wait for season 2. This is PEAK!!! For sure.
This is the best commentary on what is the best Marvel project in a very long time. Thank you for your thoughts.
Wonderful video on a fantastic show, I loved X-Men 97. Especially hearing the theme tune again.
Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one who like Cyclops better than Wolverine as a kid.
Hearing the theme music again 30 years later.. just his so hard. Especially from ep5. Amazing work!
This was a great review 🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥
I haven’t been this in love with a animated series since the dc animated universe with justice league unlimited
This. 😁
What a thoughtful and thorough review. You articulated the best points and parts of this show. No adaptation is perfect, but I'm hard pressed to find big flaws in season 1 of X-Men 97. Here's hoping season 2 delivers or even surpasses s1.
A wonderfully thoughtful review Dan, well done!
Always been a DC comics guy but aint gonna lie X men 97 made me a Marvel guy. Phenomenal, quality story telling show not just a super hero show but great show overall.. Damn!
Wow! X-men 97 is amazing! I wasn’t sure what to expect but they delivered. I loved and can’t wait for more
Great video Dan! Loved this season of X-men 97. So good and so much fun to watch.
I binged this whole season in 1 afternoon. I’ve been so excited to see your review
Insanely good season 1! Very happy with what they did to my favorite superheroes. The writing and animation were just excellent!
The show was IMMACULATE!! Cannot wait for next season
My one big regret is that this level of quality for the Xmen wasnt here 20 years ago. Folks in their 20s dont really care about the Xmen the way we did. Anime has taken over and the MCU is only here from the house that the Xmen built. I hope this catches on with the masses
The 'brightest jewel of them all,' I couldn't agree more! Great review.
Excellent analysis for an excellent show. 👏
You brought our fav characters back after nearly 30 years later, only to have them massacred before our eyes. And we still want more
I completely agree with you, this was such a joy for me as someone who grew up with the xmen cartoon
We watched it on our Uncle’s projector, and it was the most hype thing I’ve ever seen. My uncle looked like a kid on Saturday morning!
I’m glad you made a video about this. I was really curious about your thoughts on the show.
Ep.4 Is not disposable. First it shows the growth of jubilee, then it furthers storm sub plot, and for people talking about how light the episode was, well considering the next episode, thank god
The made Cyclops a MAN in this series.
This show was full of perfect one liners. So good.
You hit the nail on the head. Forty times over and I loved every moment.
100% agree with your review Dan. I absolutely loved this series, I was worried when it was first announced but it is one of the best marvel projects to date. Glad it has 2 more series ahead of it
Great breakdown. I agree 100% on all points
Anyone who's watched this knows.... This season was 10/10
As someone who grew up on 90s X-men comics, I was so happy to see some tlof the best best storylines portrayed in the show.
Dan, only been checking out your channel in the past month. I have enjoyed it so far!
