Unfortunately that's all you get for the cargo doors, no lowering them. Love the Caterpillar though. I can't wait until they fix her like she's supposed to be.
The Caterpillar ought to be incredible either way these cargo changes, whereas it actually sucks versus the open boxes with ramps like the C2, Corsair, Cutty etc. Ship tractors ought to add real efficiency but do the opposite currently. It’s also a major sticking point for me that the Caterpillar is the loaner for both the Drake Ironclad and Banu Merchantman when the C2 is more appropriately close to size.
Yea, it sucks that it currently doesn’t have a ramp. Now that I think about it, I could’ve moved the ship back a little and closer so I could just pull the boxes from within the ship.
Ramp doesn't matter as much to me as the fact it cannot house 32scu crates and in one hour I graduated to "junior hauler" and tried 1 medium mission, which had 3x 32 scu crates. Immediately invalidated my caterpillar and the c2 had to come out again. Yes I know you "can" jump a 32scu across the open doors but things get finicky on quantum jump.

I agree! Not having a ramp is making things a bit harder 😓
IDK if you can see the screen tearing on your end when playing the game but switching to borderless windowed mode can help that.

state of the gameservers + the effort to cargohaul or simply just get cargo no = alot of bugs incoming = alot of player leaaving
They need to increase the rewards for cargo hauling. Which I think they are working on.
