- The sequel to my Nuclear Attack video is finally here! This is a lot more cinematic than the last one, and has a solid story line, which I may go into greater detail on if requested. I personally think this is my best work to date, and will hopefully match, if not surpass, my other nuke scenario in popularity!
Also, I would like to thank you all for nearly 40,000 views on my other nuclear attack video, and for almost 100 SUBSCRIBERS!!! I simply can not describe how important this is to me, and you guys made it happen. Thank you, and feel free to comment, like, and subscribe for more!

The USSR had enough level heads to stop accidental escalation on several occasions (see Vasili Arkhipov and Stanislav Petrov,). But there were plenty of Soviet generals who really believed that the U.S. was itching to launch an attack st times (for example during the Able Archer exercises in 1983) and advocated for a first strike before we could do it.
And the leadership in both North Korea and Iran aren't suicidal. Quite the opposite, experience and the past behavior of both nations shows that the overriding concerns of both the Kim family dynasty as well the Ayatollahs and revolutionary guard is with staying alive and in power. Of course, it either of them saw power slipping away, they might well decide it they are going out, they are going to take as much down with them as possible.

Throwback to when Hawaii accidentally triggered a real alarm
Yeah. The EAS alarm scares the crap out of me. I lived on Oahu during the false alarm thing. The way the rest of the U.S. heard about it was just that it was a “false alarm”. It obviously was a false alarm, but it took 30-odd minutes for us to find out. I thought I was going to die for 30 minutes. I told one of my teachers, who was telling us about how we have it good and we’ve never been scared for our lives before like she was during 9/11 (I live in NJ now), and when I told her about how the EAS thing gives me a mini heart attack she told me I was overreacting because “That’s just an island, it isn’t like it was a big city that you lived by.” The missile, had it been real, would have killed everyone for miles and left fallout all over the island, water surrounding the island, and some of the other islands as well. And 9/11 was planes. Not nuclear warheads. (I’m not demeaning the significance of 9/11 I’m only comparing living in a different STATE than the one that had planes fly into buildings and living in the center of a 20 x 40 mile island with a nuclear warhead approaching.)

I got used to them from watching too many EAS scenarios.
I feel like there's no way to avoid anxiety and fear. They don't just pick out any noise to get your attention y'know- they use these particular sounds because they're engraved in our caveman brains as screams of imminent danger. I grew up in the midwest. This sound happens rather regularly for tornados during spring and autumn. So believe me, I actually get kind of pissed by this sound. It always interrupts my favorite tunes on the radio.

Im 49 years old and remember when these EBS tests were normal. I listen on my shortwave to NORAD sending EAM messages and wonder if its the launch code or a drill. Never know, but when it sounds urgent i often sit on the back porch and look west with a cup of coffee to see if any rocket exhaust trails are growing.
