I wouldn't go as low as you have with the side skirts incase you get another job like the one with that tiny shepherd hut holiday home or if you get any farm jobs because you're going to be paying out for a lot of repair work on your side skirts.
they look bad right now because its the only part sitting so low, i reckon its gonna look WAY better with the rest of the truck sitting at the same height
As a Dutchie I most say, that I like what you doing. By going for Dutch style. But if I may make an suggestion? I would get rid of this diesel tank and make a custom one that fills the whole side. Or buy an bigger one. And than I would place the batteries in the A frame. Or for an second idea, put the air tanks under de A frame and the batteries in the rear bumper. And for another suggestion. I would fill up the space between the adblue tank and the fender with a special made tool box or a custom made adblue tank that fills the space between exhaust and fender. And how about an dutch style folding step ladder that slide out of the catwalk? I think the Crough T cab had it? I'm curious how this truck developed. Good luck.
Honestly sometimes I think they need to make an easily removable splitter. like modern clips that blend in seamlessly but can be pushed to release the splitter

Trucker Tim. I think I saw you on the R series in the M6 northbound. With a heavy load on the rear. Please tell us when you are going to do stuff to the 4 series.
Nice build Tim but I would leave the tank straps off for a cleaner look, paint the side skirts blue with a white pin strip all around them and the lower extensions, looking forward to update videos
This guy is one top trucker head off Haulage he needs to teach others he is a god off the road. ,and well known in EUOPE .I was in KHAZAKASTAN 3 weeks ago in my blue waggon they kept shouting trucker tim tim tim .
that's a nice Vision ye got there, Eye brows on the headlights and the wind deflectors on the corners and side windows, lightend Michellin mens far out on the light bar, but while at it, Swap out the tanks and the Battery box put a big tank on the Left side and a storage box right or the batterybox and this time out a smoke switch on next to the switchover so yer ainnae pulling more attention as it's gonna dae anyways.
hey, I would also add the V8 logo to the headlights on the sides of the indicators like on the "Van der Heijden" trucks, it looks so incredibly good and a real eye-catcher. And this time we need a bullbar 🤣
Not gonna lie a blue with grey would not be bad either, i mean just look at it when it comes out the shop blue and grey is amazing and if you add full on black wheels with bits of blue or grey it would top it off
Great content Tim, sent you an email with pictures of both types of low loaders with fitted ramps and without, the plus and the negative of hauling them 👍
Love the A-Frame Tim can’t wait for the splitter and everything to get put on. Also I love the Dutch style ideas this time. Can’t wait for Lincoln 2025.
Love your channel. It's great to see what my trucking brothers are doing on the other side of the pond. Kind regards.. South Texas heavy equipment hauler..
Tim, got 2 idea’s for the s series. Maybe integrate stairs in your catwalk like van der Heijden did to a few trucks so you still can step up to your catwalk. And with the hydraulics gone: maybe put a cabinet there to stack your batteries in. With a door along the side skirt so it’s easy accessible and so you can put a bigger diesel tank on the passengers side 😊.
Good shout about the opposite colour combination 👍🏼 Did mention it when you first asked for thoughts 😊 Make sure you get some mini clocks mounted on your entrance steps as you go full Dutch lol 👌🏼👌🏼 keep up the good content 🤙🤙
Wow Tim that is going to look amazing they do a fantastic job can't wait to see the full build I look so forward to your videos. Just to say thank you very much for the sticker much appreciated. And thanks for the time to reply not many do reply to comments . Looking forward to the next part on the GTR. Cheers martin. 😊😊
Tim, you really need to take a small piece of those side panels covering your fuel tanks because when you are driving along the main roads and the bottoms of those panels are going to get damage. you'll be driving on uneven roads especially in the country and bound to be a lot of potholes.
You're unbelievable 😂. Even though you got in trouble over the blue beacons you want them on that truck. Some people learn from their mistakes. But you don't.
@@christopherhand1092 he got in trouble because he had them on his truck. If you've been watching enough of his videos you will see when he's going to countries where it's illegal to have the blue beacons he had to climb on the truck and cover the beacons with tape.
@@Steve30x if you watched the video correctly the officer said it was because he was using them when he went under the bridges, so many trucks in Uk and nl have blue beacons and have zero issues
Tim I can’t believe you are going to put side exhaust and change over after the run in with Dvsa they will be watching you mate . But I love the rest . Just looking out for you mate as I know what they are like
I’d reconsider taking the hydraulics off mate the possibility’s are endless ay trailers with hydraulics ,winch ( no messing around cables ) and lots more . S series blacked out blue incorporated in 🤙
It all looks great. I never heard you talking that many times over Dutch. So that must be good. Greetings from Sjaak living in Dutchland (the Netherlands) I enjoy your vlogs.
Can't wait for the final result on the S-series, I'm sure it will look amazing! But maybe you should replace the original Scania rear fenders with some proper smooth and painted Parlok fenders, this would look a lot better imo.
Can’t wait for it to be finished but to be honest Tim I think instead of just blue on the cab I think it should match the r series and the flat sides I think makes it look really boxy
Hey Tim, not to criticize but although I really like the low side skirts idea, I think you said in an older video that the S series will be a work truck. But with side skirts this low I don't know if it's gonna be the best of ideas. Anyways I hope it's gonna turn out to be an amazing truck when it's done! 😁
I would lurve one of your side skirts, Tim. I can't believe he's putting that chequer plate in the bin. My friends and I in South Lincs Mini Club need that stuff to stand our Mini tyres on at shows which are on grass.
Genuine question no hate, if you want the s series so dutch spec then why not take it to holland or somewhere else, because it looks like tranztech are not used to dutch
You should install a ghost immobiliser on the truck and set it to the air suspension so before starting the truck you will need the remote in your hand
tim just an idea have 1 stack plumbed up legaly but a change over valve before the emidsions and all that and plumb that up to split into 2 outlets which is the 2 stacks straight theough its hard to explain and ye probebly have ur own view on it
If this is going to be a working truck, you might need to revisit the air suspension calibration just in case you need some extra clearance. Side skirts will be more costly than a splitter.

Yes big square old school fuel tank would look nice.

Personal view is leave the s series as it is.. You work it and it looks spot on, credit to you Tim you've done great and keep achieving 👍
I hope you are getting bigger fuel tanks as well. Love the content =)
Side skirts won’t last two minutes when used on the road set that low at ride height. Work lights that low on the A frame will be useless at night .
did you watch the video? his truck is on full air sus so it wont be to low when driving
i think too the side skirts are to low for the england roads and speed bump's dont get me wrong look good and that
