I smirk and laugh at some of the comments. Some people still live in a cave I guess. To each his own. GR8 job on the bike. If you were my neighbour I'd get you to build one for me and I'd proudly ride it and park it in my garage beside my RZ 500 and my HD Night Train custom! That is Genious!
Be fair, all you critics: this is a very impressive exercise in home engineering. Of course it isn't practical but then how practical is any custom chopper or Manga bike? Hats off to this guy for completing an insanely difficult - and expensive - project.
Ijusthopeitsquick Yes I agree, this guy is not about making good video but amazing project; I have seen a lot of electric bikes...this one is my preferate. If it can keep at least 60 km/h for 100 km long on one charge I would go for it and make even more people jalous in my neighborhood ;- /
I love it. Although it would be nice if he provided a webpage with specs of distance per charge, the weight, the cost, if he builds to order, and any other pertinent information.
E bikes similar to this usualy get terrable range because of the weight of the batteries & the high wattage required out of the motor to pull the weight. I'm guessing it gets 20 to 30 miles per charge tops depenging on the overall weight, batteries & wattage he used. I used to ride a 500 watt electric scooter that ran on 3 batteries wired in sequence & it only got 10 to 20 miles per charge.
New era for batteries is coming.Soon the batteries will be more powerful and lighter. The main companies are working deliriously in that. Are just around the corner
Great job, I get that the look is important we live in a visually focused world and it looks cool. If you redesign/remodel it at some point, maybe consider replacing the fake v-twin with a look similar to the Brammo Empulse, be proud of the fact you've designed and built your own battery powered softail. Anyway, great work, I'm sure you've put your heart and soul into it. To all the guys on here negging you out; maybe consider that fact that he's built this his way and be a little more constructive in your comments. When you have something you're proud of you might appreciate a friendlier attitude.
the reverse is hilarious watching him fly backwards.... unfortunately that's all we get to see him riding... backwards. hopefully the next video will have much more of his driveway and truck and absolutely no riding at all
+kelly teare: thats what i was wondering ..i just moved on...i laughed and told my wife he can build a bike but not remember to take the camera with him...lmao
very nice job on your build. don't pay any attention to the dumb idiots who posted negative comments...most of them couldn't even pound a nail in straight let alone build their own bike without having someone else help them. they are just young and shallow and immature babes. great work! I built a custom streetrod from scratch taking 4 years won many awards with it so I know what's involved in doing it all yourself. peace
+Coherant bliss very nice street rod you built,i enjoyed ALL of your videos and pictures you provided. seriously, were you actually dreaming that this happened?????
thankyou! Do you have any plans for another bike build? I'm in the process (slow) of rebuilding a 76 chevy short box stepside 4x4 for my son....lotsa patch panels geeze. Take care!
we try to stay positive, so in that frame of mind, it has great eye, ... I would love to see it up close... One of the comments mentioned friction drive..?? Would really be interested to see the application that you used, and why you chose to use it.... You and I could have hours of discussion on this build... if the fit/finish it as good as it looks here... you are very accomplished.... very nice build....
Nice "looking bike" but what are the details Please? How far will it go on a charge? how long to recharge it ? How long to build it , What motor and controller did you use what batteries did you use ? how fast can it go ? have you thought of incorporating a permanent magnet alternator on the front and back wheels to recharge the batteries at the same time as you are riding it? It is a shame you lost your voice on the day you have a lot of people loving the bike but needing more imput from you Anyway nice bike and I agree the driveway is nicely laid down Grin
+Moondyne .Joe Why put alternators on the wheels? Why not connect a big one directly to the motor? Because it would be dumb to use an electric motor and electric brake at the same time. AC regenerative motor would be the way to go.
attaching an alternator to the wheels would be useful for regenerative braking and maybe cruising downhill. While the motor is working though, the alternator wouldn't recover enough energy to do much because otherwise that would violate the fundamental laws of physics.
ZPERO attaching an alternator to the wheels would be redundant, the motor itself is already attached to the wheels, and the motor can generate during braking.
Definitely cool. And I like the pho engine idea. Now get a helmet cam or place a tripod on the street and show us the speed.....its a great looking bike!
Anyone who has the skills to build a bike like this can certainly put up columns and archways like the ones shown in the video, and inexpensively. Having worked as a set builder, under experts, I can now duplicated something like this with plastic pipes or sonotube, elastomeric paint, dry sand, dimensional lumber and/ or rigid foam. These can hide an H-beam, I-beam upright, or even concrete or wooden pillars. :-) I helped build and decorate an Aztec stone pyramid out of wood, plywood, spray foam, and the paint and sand. Half of it inside a horse barn, and half in an abandoned mine quarry. It's Hollywood Magic in action. Bonus: I can now finish interiors and exteriors to look like adobe/ Southwestern style buildings, etc. I just might be able to use that skill some day, hopefully soon. :-)
Are you trying to build your own Dodge Tomahawk dude? Haha but with electric powertrain. Anyway it is such an excellent body artwork with such huge tires. Good job!
So, so cool. Sign me up if you go into production. I want one just like that. What a cool ride! Nice work! You might want a rear fender so as not to wear a dirt stripe on your back. Still, so cool.
extraordinary beautiful loking work ...i think you can make the mechanism for slamming much quieter if you flood it with grease or something. Anyways it`s very good for keeping the byke safe and harder to steal (slammed) :)
What a shame that you don't take even a couple of minutes to respond to the people interested in the amazing work you have done. Sure, it's your choice and your privacy, but you said in your last video that you wanted to show what can be done without being a pro bike builder... so for gods sake man, SHOW US!!!! What is the motor? Frame? Battery type and capacity? Front suspension? Speed? Range? How did you make the motor and battery casings? ANYTHING!!! I ride an M109R. I'd love to build something similar as an electric bike, perhaps with a 50kw motor. Throw us a bone here!!!
What? Went out for groceries and came back without any beer? Grew a beard watching this vid! Cool bike though, thanks for the video wish there was more information!
7 years ago!? How did I miss this?!? S. Schwargan, sir, VERY WELL DONE! I love how you maintained a V-Twin look. Impressive engineering. Did you house the batteries inside the V-Twin? Are the primary drive and air cleaner functional?
Looks nice, but very very inefficient design, but I get it if you're just going for looks. It runs on a friction drive system which is good for cruising speeds, but if you really wanna tear up those tires, not the best system. Gorgeous bike.
Its definitely cool but don't you expect a bike that looks like that to make some noise ? My guess would be something Retro looking for the Student/get about market. Good luck! It's definitely ace.
Hi, +S. Schwargan..! I can't see any chain or belt to drive the rear wheel. No sprocket is also there..! Are you using friction drive directly attached to the rear wheel..? It's going to eat up the tyre..! Anyways, good job done on overall design, except for the friction drive. I'm a bit curious to know the rear suspension.
Man you have some building skill's, hats off to you . It also looks comfortable to ride a lot of factory bikes that are made have a ridiculous seating positions very bad for your back
looks nice but the front end doesnt look stable to me. Looks like the front wheel is to far out and that air ride system cant really cope with it. It springs a little to much making it feel lose right?
Hi, very nice workmanship two questions though 1) why airsuspension? 2) does the electric motor drive the rear wheel by pushing/rolling on the tyre itselve? doesn't this increase tyre wear ? keep up the good work
Whawww ! Sounds like a trip in the future....hey ........come back ........guy !!! LoL x3 (x10) ... So good !!! Very nice design ...too. For sure genius work ,there 's some clues on the vid about this fact ! I like it .
"I suppose that it takes someone to be (in the comfort of) home, to be able to design such a beautiful electric motorcycle! ( It needs an optional MP3 player with the recording of a loud V-twin engine, and speakers mounted at the cylinder head, so the sound would come out of the Fake exhaust pipes!!..lol..!!) No, but all jokes aside, my view of this build; I think it's awesome!!"
Bike / Build looks top notch. I would however prefer being heard a little bit by other motorists/ pedestrians for extra safety. Thumbs up Sir.

Your bike building skills are awesome! Your video editing....not so much.
Not enough interlocking brick driveway videos on youtube, good job.
+truantray lol
+truantray Nice driveway indeed.. I'd like to see the build.
+truantray I love how peaceful the bricks just lay there the entire video
okleydokley ii
I was a minute and a half in and thought exactly that! No bike, nice driveway! 😂
Damn, that's awesome. Scared me a bit though when I thought I was going to be watching 5 minutes of driveway footage :)
Great video can we have another of your empty drive while you ride around town?
you should build next is an electric cameraman
it's called a tripod lol
Awesome! Let the haters hate. You did a beautiful job.
I love it. Although it would be nice if he provided a webpage with specs of distance per charge, the weight, the cost, if he builds to order, and any other pertinent information.

yea, I felt like a dog waiting for someone come back home.
Yeah. Maybe this guy will get a GoPro, and ride around with it.
Maybe 2 GoPros? One on his helmet, one looking backwards, near the, motor.
Somebody get this man a Go-pro.
The bike looks amazing though! Props

he went away to buy e-cigarettes
nice bike , but i think this vid is more about your beautiful driveway isn't it ?
I second that.
***** I agree! There is a beautiful driveway

That's beautiful!...Should be hanging on a gallery wall somewhere under armed guard...stunning!

+ralphinator2 I know! That's really a great idea but I wonder where you might find one that small?
attaching an alternator to the wheels would be useful for regenerative braking and maybe cruising downhill.

Drop the engine replica !
Drop the air suspension for actuator!
Nice workmanship !
The engine replica & mock gas tank are probably jam packed with cells/batteries...
Maude Potvin This!!!! Exactly this!!!!
+MrFreerideForever 2 في
Needs to add big plastic exhaust pipes and fill them with lithium batteries.
And get a fake engine sound card on that bitch ! LOL

amazing bike!!!! it looks great! love the reverse feature! what specs are those monster tires? they give it so much personality!
0:43-1:26 Nice driveway! Other than that, beautiful bike :)
Are you trying to build your own Dodge Tomahawk dude? Haha but with electric powertrain. Anyway it is such an excellent body artwork with such huge tires. Good job!
Wow... this thing is pretty radical. Do you have a blog out there or something where you explain all you did here?
A very high quality prototype build. Lots of time and money.
So, so cool. Sign me up if you go into production. I want one just like that. What a cool ride! Nice work! You might want a rear fender so as not to wear a dirt stripe on your back. Still, so cool.
Nice design, not too keen on the lack of front brakes. beautiful bike though and the reverse drive is funny as hell but cool.
beautiful job! we can make clasic motorcycles without contaminating the world, thanks for that video!
That's nice! Will save fuel for future spending with the backbone !
What is the color code from on your bike ? It is beautiful ! Great job on making the nicest looking bike electric or any other powered !!
This is a an excellent bit of engineering and good looking bike, don,t try to analyze it, It is what it is, well done, regards Doc Cox
extraordinary beautiful loking work ...i think you can make the mechanism for slamming much quieter if you flood it with grease or something. Anyways it`s very good for keeping the byke safe and harder to steal (slammed) :)
Best looking E bike ive seen so far. 2017
Really nice bike but would have been more fun to watch if you asked some one to help you film it while you ride.
Hallo,
ich finde dein Projekt echt Genial. Auf weitere gute Ideen und Willenskraft.
Awesome Build, i love the way you disguised the EV components...
So, maybe a little more info on this build would be cool. Until then its just a cute little Hardly Davidson E-Sport.
What a shame that you don't take even a couple of minutes to respond to the people interested in the amazing work you have done. would love to see a riding video. amazing bike.
Looks great. But.....how about an on-board ride video?
WOW. . !,and electric as well.💪👀💯Bad @$$ BIKE.⚡️
What? Went out for groceries and came back without any beer? Grew a beard watching this vid! Cool bike though, thanks for the video wish there was more information!
nice looking build...i imagine you need about 2kw engine to run those fat tires, or 72 volts?
Nice bike, only miss the custom sound... I knoe it's electrical, lol!
Regards from Portugal
7 years ago!? How did I miss this?!? S. Schwargan, sir, VERY WELL DONE! I love how you maintained a V-Twin look. Impressive engineering. Did you house the batteries inside the V-Twin? Are the primary drive and air cleaner functional?
The ground clearance is very less the engine might get damage if encountered a speed breaker or such other obstructions
BTW the look is awesome...
hi I am Ajay this is very nice bike
Looks nice, but very very inefficient design, but I get it if you're just going for looks. It runs on a friction drive system which is good for cruising speeds, but if you really wanna tear up those tires, not the best system. Gorgeous bike.
I thought it was going to be 5 minutes of empty driveway footage.
Nice bike. I'd definitely change that ridiculously slow air suspension, I would make it automatic and very fast and no noisy compressor to raise it.
What is the belt drive used in the bike awesome bike built sir very good
I wanted 1, where can I pick it up? LOL
Very nice bike mate, you should make them for sell, I am sure I will pick 1 up for myself :)
Its definitely cool but don't you expect a bike that looks like that to make some noise ? My guess would be something Retro looking for the Student/get about market. Good luck! It's definitely ace.

It's going to eat up the tyre..! Anyways, good job done on overall design, except for the friction drive. I'm a bit curious to know the rear suspension.
This is pretty impressive in my opinion. I would like to know why you made it look like a gas bike though.
GREAT JOB... Its really amazing. Carry on and do it at your best. I wish i have a work shop like this and spend days and nights in the shop.
towards the end it sounded like the undercarriage scrapped on the ground as he broke. nice bike tough. I wonder what it's top speed is???
cool looking bike!Just seems braking with frame bottom but not brakes.
I'm speechless. Gorgeous!
Also very interested in details of the build. looks lovely
Very nice bike! Some tutorials about how to build it available?
awesome bike. what kind of motor did you use
That is so cool! But what is the top speed? And is that street legal? Do you need a driver's license to drive that?
Top speed is 1 DPV....one driveway per video.
Nice! Where is the license plate?
Man you have some building skill's, hats off to you . It also looks comfortable to ride a lot of factory bikes that are made have a ridiculous seating positions very bad for your back
hi sir. i would like to ask. how much did it cost just to built it? coz it is so awesome.
Hey..nice ride! what type of motor have you used??
Beautiful bike. Could of spent a little more on a quiet compressor for the air bag
Beautiful! Seems like it has a little too much torque, especially in reverse. I suppose that’s just a characteristic of electric engines.
And the most nise , made on this bike, was from ... aargh, it's hard getting used to, but what a great beautiful bike!!
I love the bike well done.😎
Really cool bike :) But how is the handling at high and low speed on such a low bike? That would be interesting to know.
Hey man, awesome bike.. but what's in the tank? What's the cost to build it?
looks nice but the front end doesnt look stable to me. Looks like the front wheel is to far out and that air ride system cant really cope with it. It springs a little to much making it feel lose right?
your bike is great , I would like to see some more of it if you can . I like the way you have hidden the batteries behind the fake engine .
Wow man sweet build!
Hi, very nice workmanship
two questions though
1) why airsuspension?
2) does the electric motor drive the rear wheel by pushing/rolling on the tyre itselve?
doesn't this increase tyre wear ?
keep up the good work
What type of “batteries” are you using on that cool looking, (😌comfortable) electric motorcycle?
Dude nice bike but next time take the camera with you on that ride
Beautiful bike, but he looks like the type of guy that doesn't wave back.
That is one amazing bike
How long does the charge last
Awesome work ! really great ! What are the details ?
super cool. and alot of custom work, i salute you....
Whawww ! Sounds like a trip in the future....hey ........come back ........guy !!! LoL x3 (x10) ... So good !!!
Very nice design ...too.
For sure genius work ,there 's some clues on the vid about this fact ! I like it .
Really cool ,man !!! What a max speed ?
What is the setup that you are feeding that electric motor?
Cool air suspension...is that a rear traction drive?
Very Nice. Would be Cool to have different Chopper Engine Sounds. Kinda Dangerous being so Quiet.
Pensar que esto es de la época en que estaban de moda las ruedas gigantes. Este tipo vio el futuro...
Why make it look like it has a v-twin engine? By the way, nice video of your driveway & truck!
Are the mock engine & tank just packed with batteries ?
what motor have u used here?
awesome job, looks really good, probably last for a bit of good fun. good job.
"I suppose that it takes someone to be (in the comfort of) home, to be able to design such a beautiful electric motorcycle! Are you building to order or is this the only one to ever be produced???
