    At that time in gulf countries if you know Tailoring or typewriting no need to look another, many tailors got job in defence with high salary, when I was in Saudi a security man in our hospital who knows Tailoring got a machine from the garbage, he repaired it and started tailoring, and he has no time to go for the security job all the 500 Nurses given him many items to stich, also the nurses and other staffs of neighbouring hospitals rush to him. One day a local taken him to the rulers office and he appointed there as tailor.

    Good to see stories about normal small businesses established and still running across the UAE for more than 40 years. Many have however perished for several reasons over the past many years also. Sadly many other small and medium old businesses in the country are not managing well especially during the covid pandemic. Hope it will change for better soon enough.
