I can't see the Patriots trading out of the 3rd pick. The owner (Kraft) and fanbase want a QB. Elliot Wolf (first year GM) doesn't have the cache - 6 rings like BB - to trade out of the 3rd pick and have the entire fanbase of a historically successful marquee NFL franchise (worth $6.7 billion) turn on them with their first move in the role. If Maye is there at 3 he's going to New England.

The Eliot Wolf-Baker Mayfield makes no sense. He didn’t pick Baker - John Dorsey did. For all we know, Josh Allen could’ve been Wolf’s #1 QB. I don’t understand that point - unless we’re just trying to fill content for the next two weeks.

Personally think the fact they moved Sam Howell means they are going Jayden not Maye. Why would you not keep best buds together to help him develop if that were the case?

To me Jayden might have the best chance of being a true star. He has a really quick release and strong arm. I watched his Pro Day (PD) multiple times and actually liked him more the more I watched. He was dropping the ball into a bucket at 60 yards. Plus his play during games is pretty spectacular. I’m not much of a “stats” guy when it comes to draft picks because I think they have little value for transferring to the NFL. However I think Jayden had a 10 on his TD-2-INT ratio which is obviously otherworldly. But when I see Jayden I think Marino as a passer with running ability close to Lamar. If it’s true then he could be like CJ Stroud but perhaps even better. It will be interesting to see him in the NFL.
If the Vikings like the QBs at 3, and NE is willing to trade, I don’t see how the Raiders outbid them. They can offer futures 1sts as well on top of the 2 this year, which are more valuable than future ones anyway. It’s not like trading future picks is some special power only the Raiders have, I don’t see how 13 and futures 1sts is the “king’s ransom” here…
I agree. As a Vikings fan. I hope we stick and pick. Unless we can get Williams or Daniels. If they are gone. I'll take whatever one I like best that's still on the board at 11th. If Maye goes to Washington and Nix goes to Minnesota or Denver. My money is on Nix being the better NFL qb
Daniels frame is a real concern. He is not what koc wants. It is Maye or McCarthy is we are trading up

@@HalfTonChevy you got me. Sometimes all you have to do is open your eyes. Look at every system he has been in. Look at the McVay coaching tree and find me a guy that doesn’t fit that profile.

Man, not that I necessarily recommend it, but imagine if the Bears or Commanders traded their ones. I’m guessing they’d get three or four future ones at least. The Lions did something somewhat similar when they traded Stafford as they got Goff and a boatload of picks. And the Lions then drafted well and made a quick turnaround. But as a GM your fans might get mad if you made a trade like it but not for long if you drafted wisely in the future. I love Jayden Daniels but if I were the team that could draft him I’d still think about a trade if I could fleece, say, the Vikings.
Jayden and maye have high potential but both scary me going 2 or 3.
It's always a toss up. Hell bo nix could end up being the best qb in this class. U never know. Tua went before Herbert ...hell love went after all 3 of them. And then jalen went way after all them like 20 something picks later. Look at Purdy 😂. So u never know. U really just have to go off potential/athletic ability and hope it can transfer to the nfl. Team fit also matters ...some of these top 1-3 picked qbs who were labeled as bust prob would have went on to have way better careers if they didn't get drafted to a completely horrible team. Look at stroud/Bryce their teams were on completely diff spectrums and u get Bryce struggling while stroud lit it up. Again Look at Purdy 😂😂. So who knows
Jayden Daniels has 1st rd talent all around his offense throughout his college career. Yes he’s good but he’s not elite. Patriots def trading back.
Could see the vikes moving up to say 7-8 if they're boxed out of the top 4 to get Pennix

I personally hope that the NFL begins to reign in the nearly 100% pro offense/ anti defense pendulum. Defense needs to be Defense. Defense needs stars,as much as offense. Hey NFL? How about allowing defenses to be great? NFL in Brazil? Dude? Packers are THE NFL team in Brazil. From my understanding, no Packers? No game in Brazil.
I understand DJ is a Chargers broadcaster, but Michigan football isn’t going to work in the NFL. There are 11-12 teams on your schedule that will beat you if you don’t bring it - you don’t simply out-recruit and outclass anybody. Get Herbert a stud OT or WR at #5.

Raiders trade the farm for pick #2 to draft Daniels and Washington who is it it for the long haul will get tons of draft capitol to rebuild in all areas including a 2nd tier QB.

Only comlaint is the audio quality. From the very beginning main dude's audio is blown out, low quality. Doesn't have the same crisp fidelity I hear on other podcasts/shows like this.

I could see this playing out, top 3 taking a QB. Vikings trade up at 4 to get JJ McCarthy or Maye and then chargers trading back at 5 with like the bengals. Bengals send away Tee Higgins and 2 firsts for Marvin Harrison JR.

High school? Depends on the prestige but like, if you slapped them on my no-name high school team they probably would have done good playing against other high schools you will never really hear about lol
Wait like any High School or strictly high programs like Nater Dei or sumn? Because I know a few schools that had 13 people on the Roster and they weren’t good at all😂
