hey I have a Nissan sentra 2010 and my airbag icon just started flashing, I bought the car like 4years ago and I haven't had any issues until now
I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra SR. I have owned it for two years on August 13th 2014 and it hasn't had any issues since Day One... Until now. The airbag light is flashing and I am scared to put it into diagnostic mode, in case I can get it out of it. Nothing has changed inside of the car and the only real thing I can think of that I did differently was turn the steering wheel to the left harder than normal(All the way to the left). Any ideas?
Mark Everson It could be a number of things unless you have a scan tool or place the vehicle into diagnostic mode. If you're worried about tooling with it just bring it to a good mechanic. Ask your family and/or friends if they have a good mechanic. If you're lucky they may check the code for you w/o charge. Good luck!
CarsNToys I actually put it in diagnostic mode and the light went off which means that it was just a glitch or hiccup right? Now when I turn my car on it doesn't flash anymore.
Mark Everson That's awesome. Glad it worked out. Just keep an eye on it. The Sentra in the video (a 2008 model) did the exact same thing for months; then one day I got an error code for the rear side curtain airbags. Turned out there was a recall from Nissan. So if it happens again and you do get an error code just search if there is a recall for your vehicle. Cheers.

I have 3 airbag codes B00A0, the same three times : Erratic, General Signal failure, no sub system type
It says four frequently reported Fixes are:
1. Repair Occupant Module wiring harness
2. Occupant Detection Sensor wiring harness
3. Replaced occupant classification module
4.Replaced Occupant Detention Sensor.
NOTES: Car was not in an accident, nor was my airbag deployed.
I also noticed that my car HVAC is not blowing any air. Is there a correlation where one system my affect the other.perhaps a blown fuse?

My Nissan Altima 2013 SV 2.5 airbag light on the instrument cluster came on this past Friday. When I notice that I pulled to the side of the road shut the car off and the light went off. When I started the vehicle back up after 4 hours it being park the airbag light came back on and it was just a solid light.
It appears my 08 Sentra base model light stays on for four off two , two 1 second blinks , off two seconds then repeat. Any ideas.
The dealership said new airbag 1500.00 . I need more info than that.

Thanks, this worked for me. I tried this method before, but I think I was waiting too long after the flashing light went out. This time , I turned the key to off immediately when the air bag light went out - just like you showed in the video,

Can I just ignore this? Mine just came on I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra. I already put money into this car to fix the catalytic converter and I don't feel like putting more cash in for something that isn't gotta mess with my vehicle running.
I have a 2010 nissan sentra base model. I noticed that the airbag light came on after I replaced the motor blower and resistor. I know that I had to disconnect three clips from the BCM..do you think this caused it? I swear this model nissan is trash. We have had a new engine, catalytic converter, alternator, starter, new battery, subframe bushings, cv joints, struts, shocks, and then I fixed the ac because it would have costed $1300..and honestly, after doing it I see why...it's an easy job but the tight places make it soo difficult

Thank you for your video. I have a question: if my side airbag on the driver's side was out due to an accident, do i have to replace it with a new one? If not, will that affect my whole airbag system--a.k.a. the other airbags (esp the one in the wheel) will not come out next time in an accident?

Okay I have a 2009 Nissan Sentra my flashing airbag light would be on 4 seconds off 3 seconds over and over.. or can you tell me where I could get the info for on the codes.... Also I had to change the clock spring cuz none of the buttons are working it wasn't until the airbag light went off which annoyed me even more but I changed the clock spring everything works the only thing I got is that blinking light again I did as you instructed to get to the code part of turning on and off the ignition and it's on for 4 seconds off 3 seconds over and over thanks in advance

Thank you for the info! What do you suggest for finding out weight/height restrictions for front passenger seat air bag light? I checked the manual and looked at a few videos. Legally, it seems like all is within the allowable #s, but the car air bag light still lights up.

Hi, I got a instrument cluster for my 07 Nissan Sentra 2.0 from a salvage yard. When I plugged it in the airbag light was flashing and the ads, brake, ps light were on and the light wasn't working on gauge. Is there anything I can do to turn them off/fix them? I got another cluster because my fuel gauge keeps showing inaccurate fuel readings and that's after I replaced my fuel pump like 3x's. I just came across an article stating that many people are/have experienced this same problem with their fuel gauge/pump. It's a faulty resistor in the fuel pump.

player1nyc I don't see a code for on 7 secs; 3 flashes and the pattern repeats. I do see a code for on 3 secs; 3 fast flashes and the patter repeats. If that's the case it's the front drivers' side seat belt pre tensioner. If you can try to upload a video of the flash pattern.

Hi, my Sentra SR '11 cruise control lights come on while driving without being engaged, all the controls buttons on the steering wheel (cruise control, Bluetooth, volume up down) won't work only the horn works.

Hi getting a flash code up on my dads nissan qashqai 57 plate 1.5dci he has changed the air bag module comes back flashing after reset the flash the flash code short short short short long then repeats.
