- Subscriber asked me to play the Trepang2 demo. Got to this checkpoint and it felt more like F.E.A.R. than project origin ever did.
I'm not touching it again until the full game is released.

Implying there were FEAR 2 and 3 alone is the most generous and bold act which I cannot even imagine to do it.
FEAR 2 wasn't really bad. I enjoyed it a lot, even had some good scares in it.

I have Fear 3 on my PS3 and it was amazing with local co op mode, especially playing as Fettel.
I think they'll be alright after a few months in the hospital.

Game is out now and it is so good, thanks for uploading these videos and introducing me to F.E.A.R. 6 years ago with that 'F.E.A.R. Is Ridiculous' video. Without it I would have slept on that game series for way too long and now we've got a spiritual successor to the original and it just slaps. Thanks once again! :D
why no big studio ever made a proper fear sequel i will never know. The original formula was just beautiful.

Holy Moly😱 I wish the F.E.A.R. series gets a reboot.
When I found this demo and spent countless hours in the horde mode slaughtering enemies in slow-mo, basking in the gore and visual effects.....I knew that I had found my new game to be hyped up for like a kid again! It got me to reinstall all 3 FEAR games and play through them completely, even going back a second time for select levels/scenarios that I love!
Then they updated the demo and I still really enjoy it, but the horde mode changed a bit, so I had to relearn the map, enemy spawns, where I could hide and be most effective from... Still, Trepang 2 is the FEAR 4 we never got. I'm beyond excited for the release day and will most likely end up ignoring my actual life, job, and relationship for a good quality chunk of say....a week or two as I immerse myself into the game and devour every second I have to play it. THAT is how much I adore the FEAR games and their gameplay!
I believe it's being made by 2 young guys who are also big FEAR nerds, I remember seeing a dev log video of them talking about their game and how happy they are with the progress and reception, future plans, and such. Makes me so happy to know that there's some people out there that have the skill set to do this kind of thing when a fan community is really longing for a new entry in a beloved series, or even a inspired work that captures the sources main attributes dead on, but goes in their own direction while still being faithful to that source material!
I can't wait for this game, I've literally been replaying all FEAR games, this demo for Trepang 2, and any other games that are FPS and feature bullet time like Max Payne, Maximum Action, Severed Steel.....I just can NEVER get enough of bullet time/slow-mo guns blazing slaughter fest....where you feel unstoppable and just make the enemies feel so overwhelmed and scared. This genre of games is so damn good and I wish there were more that were being made, but made with love and effort from fans that themselves love these games....otherwise you get watered down, half assed, cash grabs that are SUCH a disappoinment.
Anyways, loved you video titled " FEAR is ridiculous", and have watched it many of times, it gets me pumped to play them any time, any day, lol. I hope to see more stuff like that in the future, 2,3, Trepang2, other slow mo shooters???... You've got talent for editing, and make entertaining videos!

God this brings me back to 2005 watching my brother play the first level of F.E.A.R at 5 years old... And being in awe with the graphics and the atmosphere, one of the reasons I got a pc when I was 6 haha
I once played a bit of F.E.A.R. on an atom netbook. All options set to low and it’s mostly playable with some dropped frames until combat happens.

The game is actually named after the emotion your enemies feel when you slide through the doorway.

Lol I didn't *hate* origins. Some of the gunplay was pure FEAR catharsis (when it wasn't in the sewers). And seeing Alma become an all powerful demon upon the world was cool.

I've been waiting for this game to be finished for like 2 years now, still hoping. I'm holding my fingers crossed that the slow motion and wall running in cyberpunk will allow for styling on enemies, I need something to pass the time!
Wall running has been removed from Cyberpunk, plus no way that game is going to be anything close to FEAR.
