I swear some people like you are just blessed with Halo good luck. You'll say something like "there are no sword elites in this room on easy," and boom, I get sword elites. And sometimes things just don't work for me like they appear to so easily for you, like getting those two locked doors to open by getting an enemy to walk to it. I couldn't get those damn enemies anywhere near me. And then I finally get to the end and I'm running like four minutes behind your time, and Keyes refuses to cooperate, and I miss the mark.
Oh shit, I had no idea.
The three times I restarted this for the par time, I had the sword elite all the time.
I had so many of them on Assault on the Control Room too
Yeah there’s definitely always a sword elite in that room.

Thank you :) I barely made it, because captain Keyes glitched and failed to follow me to the bridge, had 50 seconds left to lose the achievement, lol.
Aegis legion Haha, nice. Yeah Keyes and those marines at the end tend to mix things up sometimes, lol.

Every single time I run this level, I get stuck at the last part about @14:14, because Keyes never shows up! It's happened 3 times now! I'm about to break this damn game.

OMG! The level cleard for me after the bridge room and I didn't have to run back and activate the drop ship dock with Keyes!? :D
When the marine complaining about being screwed, I was meleeing the door that you would go through, and then the cutscene played. Don't know why or how

extra tip: keep the sniper rifle and only use your other slot for whatever gun you prefer (i like the plasma rifle best) and you will also get an achievement for having at least 4 sniper rounds left by the end
At the very end when you are in the last room with keys and dude says "i can fly us out of here" go up the ramp and grab all the ammo and you will also get another achievement. (Finish level with 4 rounds left in your sniper rifle.)
How tf do you get your marines on the platform to jump up. It wasted a min and a half for me to wait for them. and yes its required I wait.
If anyone is curious and is having a hard time doing the big hanger skip there is an alternate method where if you overcharge an elite which will cause him to rage at you and you make him follow you to the door that you would go through normally and the door immediately following it and the results are the same as if you did the triple made jump
I know its been over a year dude, but do u have any video or more info on how to do this?
estop I did it just by running through the normal path. Take out all the enemies really fast in every main section. Don’t worry about the enemies in the halls. I had like 2:50 or something of time left.
can't seem to do this par time run always run ing out of time.
Fuck this. I made it to the end and my teammate killed Keys. The checkpoint back to the prison cells is unbelievable 🙄
If someone's thinking of doing this with the bandanna skull thinking they're being smart, don't. I did it twice, first without a timer so I assumed I just wasn't fast enough, and my achievement didn't pop. turned off bandanna skull, did it again, I got it. ¯\_(ಠ_ಠ)_/¯
Mission Completion, Game Completion, Par Time, and Par Score achievements are all disabled by skulls being active. All other achievements can have skulls active
@@tTaseric correction, they don't count only if they're classified as a "cheat skull". Par score achievements would be REALLY hard without skulls like iron for free points
@@Booooooce Yeah, my mistake. I believe if the skull has a 0x multiplier then it disables par time and score achievements.
Also, there seems to a bug(?) that allows you to gain game completion achievements with the 0x skulls on.
I get that this video was made 5 years ago, before MCC came to PC...but the lack of backpack reloads is infuriating to me.
He does do backpack reloads in this video. Like at 3:04 he does 2
He doesn't reload any other way...did you watch the video with your eyes closed?
It's still in mcc to this day I was just doing the backpack reloads today.

lol at 6:30 I had a Grunt just napping infront of the door so it was open all the time.

RUN PAST ALL UNTIL WAVES. Nade waves and Snipe or ar
Hunters die one shot from sniper in back or pistol, let them run and raise their shield and belly shoot.
Now it's the past that you dread
GET IN SHIP PREPARE FOR HELL AND CONFUSION
Ship. Fight then:
Down, jackals
In main room heading toward camo, take that green right door
Make a right proceed to the elite that runs out of corner, kill and then end up on upper part.
Jump down, clear room or get elite to run toward, go through big door
Down, proceed right into hanger.
Kill things while running around hitting invisible trip wires. Snipe upper guys, toss nades at doors if possible.
To exit hanger after combat....take the door by the boxes with overshield.
Follow hallway to floor 2, go forward and left
Elite room kill, free Marines, kill invis elites and grunts, run and run. Call for evac, 2 invisible elites
Out back to the room, skip first green door kill two sword elites, kill grunts plasma to belly or AR. RUN THRU HALL.
GO TO THE SHIP. GONE.
I have such badluck with emp jackals
in the corridors after the hunters, i had 4 or so jackals shoot me with charged pistols,
This level is annoying because of the waiting around you gotta do to move on. Especially after you rescue Keyes, if you do not have at least 3 mins left by the time you find him, you will not make the par time since they wait around in the control room for a minute before deciding how to escape.
18 minutes and it didn’t pop!! Wtf!
I'm still gonna fail because the damned confusing hallways. I suppose I could pause this video at that point.
I never not get lost in this level
On easy those hunters are a 1 smack melee from the rear
I killed the two sword elite and it never went to next point :'(
hm I went through 15 minutes and 4 seconds didn't got it seems bugged I guess ? on Pc

Freakin s***. Just wasted 19:11 minutes of my life to complete this and the achievement simply didn´t pop!!! No skulls activated, played on easy. Any suggestion? I´m gonna riot.
Maybe it’ll pop up the next day
Lol 4:51 this part is impossible on legendary with 3 skulls on.

Halo Completionist oh yea ill like u to see u do halo 3 on laso the legendary playthrough is to easy i beat it about 2 weeks and yesterday i did no pain no gain on floodgate pretty easy i died about 2 times and if u wack breakable items does that give u shield but anyways ill like to see u tackle the halo 3 laso campaign

Halo CE Meta game is the worse for Par time and score. Dumb AI and those tricks are trash. No wonder nobody plays CE compared to the others.
