OOO 10th is just depressing cause it's one of my favorite Kamen Rider seasons, but god they did this movie dirty. It just feels unfinished in so many areas, and I really didn't feel any passion behind it either.
But with 10 Gokaiger, I feel the complete opposite. It's not perfect, but I loved it. (Tho part of it could be because I decided to rewatch Gokaiger before watching the movie) It was great to see all the Gokaigers back, I loved what they did with the kid from the second episode in this, the gender swapped Gokai Green and Yellow suits were such a good callback to the body swap episode, and the power up from Gokai Galleon. It's bulky sure, but I love it, reminds me of Power Rangers battlizers from the 2000s. But above all else, this felt like something made with love and care, and it's something I always love to see.
I don't know if I would say the actors in OOO didn't want to be there and didn't care. Because they've mentioned in interviews for when this movie was coming out that they became friends after the show and keep in touch via group calls. Plus there's the fact that these 10th-anniversary films aren't made because Toei wants to. They're usually made because the actors and crew of the show want to. And pretty much have to convince Toei themselves to make it. That's basically what happened with the previous 10 years after Sentai films. So I truly believe the actors really wanted to make this story of Ankh finally coming back.

000 10th isn’t bad there was a lot of passion put in and it was clear that the people behind it loved it, sure it wasn’t the story that the fans wanted but it was good for what it was
I am so glad that I am not the only one who can say they hated the OOOs movie. The tone was all wrong. Kamen Rider OOO was a comedy with serious moments. This OOOs movie was dark, dismal, and depressing. I get what they were going for, but they went about it completely the wrong way. As for the Gokaiger movie, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. It was okay, but I felt it could have been so much more.

10 Gokaiger to me is a much better movie, I agree on that. And oh my goodness, I'm thankful I'm not alone considering I hate the 10th movie too.
Is it safe for me to say that I honestly didn't care for either of these reunion movies?! I mean, I'm glad I saw them. But to be honest...I just didn't care for both of them. If I want to relive the nostalgia of both Kamen Rider OOO and Gokaiger, I'd go watch the TV shows instead.
@@xgray2012 That's perfectly fine. I will not be watching either of these movies again either, so your opinion is fine with me. I also agree that the shows are better and would prefer to re-watch those instead of these two movies.
I still say dekaranger is my favorite tenth year anniversary movie. Ten gokaiger could have been better but I had fun with it and good to see one of my favorite cast again, so I'm with Marcus this time (which is rare)
OOO...on the other hand, I've heard so many divisive opinions about it, and then I watched it without any expectations...I felt nothing about it.
That makes two of us, dude.
Ten Gokai was a blast.
I actually waited until the it came out to watch Gokaiger.
I didn't have to wait 10 years for this, but I still got hit with nostalgia, even though I had watched the last episode only a few hours before.
Thank God these two weren't double-billed

My opinions are fairly brief, but I really enjoyed the Gokaiger special. OOO had a weird one...
There's hatred and then there's what I feel, nothing
OOO 10th had a good concept but the way they did it was weird, I do like Ankh's ooo form and I was sad that Eji died but I felt like it didn't need to happen. 10 Gokaiger on the other hand was great, I enjoyed the hell out of it loved that we had the gokaigers turned into sentai after ninniger while the gokai cross mode is not the best power up but I do like that its their own thing instead of something like gold mode.
OOO 10th anniversary deserved better than this 50 minute special
The main thing I can say about OOO is, WHY?
GOKAIGER 10th anniversary movie is the best one yet but when I saw the Kamen Rider OOO tenth anniversary movie it needed one thing Two words DR. MAKI.
It says something that eiji’s and ankh’s appearance in generations final is more respectful than this
Now, how I would end ooo with, Is eji still walking off into the distance, but with his underwear flying on a stick in the desert with a piece of ankh's medal strung up with it, while the special duet version of anything goes ending as it glistens in the sun.
I have seen some of your older videos and always wondered where do you guys watch all these shows and for so many years. I'm a physical media guy so unless it's on dvd or blu ray I've never seen it. Kame Rider Zero-One is my first Kamen Rider well I saw some of the original on Tubi but not all of it. For Super Sentai Zyuranger was my first I've only seen the Shout Factor releases. Is there a certain website for all of the Toku shows you watch?
For me they were both okay. For OOOs seeing Ahnk becoming a rider was so cool but it’s just boring when it’s just Ahnk and the Geed that’s possessing Eji. I love Eji and seeing him die was so emotional but the fact he technically died twice hurt the moment. At least Date is still amazing.
For Gokaiger it was fun but the pacing could have been better.
OOO 10 Years After was such a messy disappointment....I didn't outright HATE it, because I did like some of the ideas going around like the new Greeed made by Kougami effing around(like he always does), reviving the old King OOO, etc.....but just the way they breezed by a LOT of the important moments, such as Eiji's death ever since the beginning of the Movie, Birth X off-screen, the Births not playing much of an important role in general, Ankh's revival being COMPLETE NONSENSE(I will NEVER forgive Toei for not just having Ankh's canon revival to be what happened in Heisei Generations Final), etc....
Now Ten Gokaiger?!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!! It was such a great tribute to the Series, and showed off alot of each member's roles within the team. It had such memorable moments such as Marvelous vs 100 Sentai Rangers UNMORPHED, the kid who Marvelous inspired being grown up & helping them, etc. Heck I surprisingly liked the Cross Armor & its explanation, because it works within the mechanics of how Gokaiger worked! I really enjoyed this one overall.

The more I think about the OOO movie the more it makes me sad since OOO is one my favorite riders. And I do like the ideas in the film. Especially bringing back King OOO since that's something I always wanted from the original show and movies. But its short length made everything so undercooked. Goda ending up as another power-hungry Greeed is annoying since we already did this shit with Poseidon. They really could have had Goda be a good guy but no. Didn't help we all saw it coming given that Toei promoted Kamen Rider Goda as an enemy. Birth X also got a terrible debut in the film and we're lucky to hopefully get a better showing of it with Birth Secret Story this summer. And the whole cast from the movie will be there for that special as well. It'd be nice if that special ends up fixing a lot of the problems people had with the OOO movie but I highly doubt it. I don't think they'll bring back Eiji but at the very least give the Greeeds a much better send-off.
I've yet to see Ten Gokaiger but at least from what I've heard it is better than what OOO ended up giving us. So that's nice. I just need to have enough time and be in the right mood to watch it.

@@AnansiArchives6045 they try to make it so that the births mess around with the belt so the second birth got sent to another dimension where Hina is OOO
It could work but seeing how the first movie ( this one ) did, i don't have high hopes
Aside the low-budget feel of OOO's movie (Gokaiger managed it better, it doesn't feel so low-budgetery), I really liked it. It's not perfect, but I think people believe the series was this comedy without serious moments, and it can't do anything serious anymore. It's bittersweet, but somehow It's a closure for Eiji (at least he saved the little girl this time).
I can see why people disliked this movie, but I liked it.

I had a lot of fun with Gokaiger 10 years after, it’s one of my favorite toku movies just because I personally enjoyed it a lot but it still doesn’t top my favorite 10 years after with Dekaranger.

The OOO movie makes me so upset, because OOO is my 2nd favorite Kamen rider right behind Ex-Aid, and the fact that this movie was as bad as it was really upsets me because this movie is one of the worst toku movies I have ever seen.
I definitely agree on Gokaiger Ten Years After. I watched the movie before I watched the actual show itself, so it gave me some good context as to what was to come. And ngl, this movie straight up solidified my love for Sentai even though that already existed. I still remember listening to the Hero Getter ending of this movie on repeat lol. I feel like on a tier list this would be an S tier, for me at least.

Ten Gokaiger is a fun story that doesn't try to be anything it isn't and feels like a nice epilogue to one of the best Sentai seasons ever.
OOO 10 Years After is the exact opposite. I loathe this movie so much. You had one fucking job, Toei. Thanks for spending ten years of getting fans hopes up just to kick them in the balls. Imma just keep pretending OOO ends at Ep 48.
There's still 3 more things attached to the ooo movie 2 5 minute prequels & something after so tbh I would have watched that all with the movie tbh

I think the moral of the story: If you want to make it right, call the original writer
The problem is that Koboyashi oversaw the writing of this film and ultimately signed off on it. And apparently, her original intention was to have Eiji die at the end of the original show instead of Ankh. So him dying here is more so them honoring that original idea. The issue is that they did a horrible job at it. And even then just because it's something the original writer wanted doesn't mean it's a good idea.
