Zenkaiger has been AWESOME. As someone who hasn't seen all the super Sentai series. I notice the suits from Power Rangers, but I also have no issue recognizing Sentai suits I haven't seen. I have to say, I think Zenkaiger is doing a great job and probably doing it better than Gokaiger. Both series did their thing. Gokaiger was more fan service, while Zenkaiger is poking fun at fan service and sentai troupes, while also just doing its own thing. I love Zenkaiger and it's killing it. Even it's filler episodes are dope.
I never seen Jetman, but I still laughed at the Black Condor scene. I only knew it was that scene from a shot for shot video on Twitter. It was shot for shot the same thing, but done in great comedic fashion and was amazing. They even shot the wedding reference scene in 4:3 aspect ratio. The subtle references are more than just a person showing up in the show. It's literally paying homage to super sentai and even the era as a whole. In episode 16 when they had the Magnet world and the stuff was getting stuck to them and then Vroom or Juran sacrificed themselves when the giant ball was chasing them I screamedddddd. I never laughed so hard at a super sentai. Zenkaiger will easily be in my top 5 Sentai series ever. It's soooooooo good lmao.
So far we just consider anniversary seasons from gaoranger on. As for my opinions:
1. Gokaiger: Obvious right? A perfect way to celebrate anniversary, bringing back past sentai members while having their own story and recognize themselves as the 35th sentai. Man, I still love gokaiger.
2. Zenkaiger: From what I watched, it really represents themselves in a very different way that is refreshing and interesting to look at. They uses past sentai gears to give you an idea of what their powers on. That kyuranger and jetman gear was so hilarious. The story was kinda slow, but a lot of comedy and fun. Also, LOVE THE VISUALS!!
3. Boukenger: Not really much anniversary aspect as I remember, it's an adventure show with some good team dynamics, other than that what I remember is summarizing the past 29 seasons and the 1500th episode of super sentai. Oh I remember, Aka red.
4. Zyuohger: I started off liked the show but then I come off liked it a lot less, or I should say, I only liked parts of the concept and characters. Outside of that, I found it so boring and meh. What they did is just bring back gokaiger. And then...pretty much nothing.
Gaoranger: Haven't watch it, and probably not. You guys hated it as I remember.
Recommend to atleast watch the Gaoranger anniversary movie
Boukenger also had the encyclopedia segments that talked about each Sentai up till then as well as each aspect of Sentai
My favorites are definitely all of Gokaiger and what we have of Zenkaiger so far.
Also the entire end of the video talking about the Jetman gear is my favorite Tokucast moment recently.
Even though both Gokaiger and Zenkaiger are amazing, I would give it to Gokaiger because they made me feel nostalgic what with bringing back everyone from the past and giving the six of them Ranger keys from every season. Also Gai is basically me in that he’s a HUGE Sentai fan!!!!!
As for Zenkaiger, I like the rivalry with Stacy and Kaito, also the Jetman episode though….😂😂😂😂
I love anniversary years because I can remind everyone how good boukenger is all year
Boukenger, Gokaiger and Zenkaiger did the anniversary season in sentai the best
Gaoranger did it good too. They had a team up with past sentai seasons
Both GOKAIGER And BOUKENGER are my favorite Anniversary SENTAI'S.
Same cause they have a lot of sentai references same with zenkaiger like right now

The biggest homage of Zenkaiger that people didnt notice was the basic MOTW with not much overarching plot like in showa series
*Kaizuko Sentai Gokaiger* will always be my favorite anniversary Sentai show. Due to the pirate crew changing into all the other sentai teams, it made this sentai look its best, act its best, and best of all, BE ITS *BEST.*
Zenkaiger has BEING amazing. Man this season is so good.
After been disappointed in Dino Fury, Zenkaiger is what I need.

Can you do a tokutalk on things the domestic toku fandom doesn't understand about the western fandom and/or vice versa
Like how English Speakers love Gekiranger but the Japanese doesn't care for it while the same audience ate up Nininger, wizard and Zi-o Or how PR Collectables sell dismally in the states compared to how they sell in Japan for Sentai, things like that
Gekiranger was loved by the older fans in Japan but the younger audience didn’t care for it during its run although that’s changed.
As for Ninninger, I could sorta see it’s appeal in Japan since it flipped the traditional ninja tropes on its head
Also lupat with the collection pieces

So that legendary line up in Gaoranger vs Super Sentai probably influenced Zenkaiger (right down to the token female teammate)

IMO Zenkaiger should be like kamen rider decade
Zenkaiger should travel to various super sentai worlds instead travel to weird worlds
then it would just be Gokaiger + Decade which also means Gokaiger 2 which would be also be a throwaway by not making it as unique as it should

It sucks that PR is the only toku that has different anniversary years to the other tokus.
