Nice vid! Wire pairs within the sheath are twisted to suppress RF interference. Twisting the loop pairs together to within a short distance of the terminal screws would preserve the RF interference suppression benefit of the cable. The untwisted pairs behave like antennas spread out across the intercom network.
Hi Chris, I have a six wire iw6- coming out of the wall and cannot find any intercom system that works for Talk,Listen & door buzzer, do you have any recommendations or any links?
They’re also seems to be a extra 14 gauge blue wire coming out of the wall as well. I’m not sure if this was a extra wire or used for looping, but it’s just a condo with one intercom.
Hi George: You are basically asking an "Installation" Question - Which I am unclear on how to answer - These types of questions require much more detail than "wires coming out of the wall" - It would be best if you contacted me directly so I can ask you about 1000 questions about what you're trying to do - Chris nscompany@msn.com

Hi Dennis: Twisted Pair Wire is also important to prevent Cross-Talk on more conventional 6-Wire Intercom Systems - Chris

@@northsideservicecompany3567 thank you I will message you
can i disable my buzzer in my own unit without disrupting the rest of the buildings ? very old intercom, looks kinda like in this video.
Hi jo jo: I can't answer your question without know what system you're talking about - Chris
@@northsideservicecompany3567 I think the inside of my intercom shows company name Florence. It has 5 connections from what i see. Does this help ?
If your system show "Florence" it is likely an Auth Florence brand system - not NuTone. I don't know anything about Auth systems - Chris
Now how do I connect this to my bunk doorbell
Hi Yanaj: I have no idea what a "bunk doorbell" is - Much more detail about what you're trying to do is needed to provide any useful answer - Chris
