Wouldn’t fancy having to go here every second week to watch football! Bit soulless! Reminded me of the Olympic Stadium in Berlin! Great video, how did the date go??
I went to that Depeche Mode concert (plus Muse in 2019 and I have plans to do two more in 2022). Sound was good and both nights were good concerts, plus was easy enough to get food before the shows, but it did feel like it would be a very strange venue to visit for football.

Thanks for your message. I can't complain, the better team won - it should have never gone to penalties. It's a shame, but proud of the boys nevertheless. As for other stadiums, very few of the ones that you've listed actually do tours. I know the Stadio Olimpico doesn't, and Juventus does. But going anywhere when governments are still restricting travel is hard work. There's very few places I can actually go right now.
It’s like the modern equivalent to the American multipurpose stadiums built in the 60s and 70s, commonly known as “cookie cutter stadiums”. The problem with them was that by making them multipurpose you have to put what would normally be the best seats in the house far away from the action. But it’s the trade off you have to accept to accommodate multiple sports. I’m seeing the exact same problem here
Being a West Ham fan… I f I was in charge of the kits hanging in the change room. I would make sure the name were on each shirt and also hang the home shirt rather than the away….after all they are at home. 1:13 The Orbital has actually always been an observation tower. The former media centre (which is now a convention centre) is that boxy building (adorned by a huge sign that says "HERE EAST") you might have seen if you looked right when walking across the entranceway to the Olympic park.
The lower tiers arent that far from the pitch but they can go closer but then they'll create a bigger gap between the upper and lower tiers. They can do somwething similar to the Singapore national stadium, where they have a "middle" tier under the lower tier and when the lower tier is moved clser to the pitch, the middle tier rises up to fill the gap. Then the tiers can angle downwards to to putch contnousoy like any other stadium and they can be closer to the pitch. The stadium cappacity will increase.
I already drew them and informed the winners. The videos got so few views that I didn't bother making another video highlighting the draws, I just sent the winners their stuff. These videos really did badly and it's made me think twice about holding any more competitions.

@@UltimateBucketList Yeah they do. It's pretty cool. You get to go around all the Excetutive areas, Changing rooms, Dugouts ETC. Also the guide we had was getting on a bit and had lots of fun & interesting stories from all his years working there. Another reason is that UTD legend W. Rooney is manager there now, which i'm sure you're a big fan of being a United fan 😉
I used to like West Ham a bit when they played at Upton Park but then they moved to the Olympic stadium i liked them less and thought the stadium was a bit soulless. I start like West Ham again cause of Souček Coufal and Lingardinho
Clearly not ... otherwise they would have done that already. That's what you get for designing and building an athletics track to then try and convert to a football stadium.
They don't do tours ... and as someone who has visited both grounds hundreds of times, I can confidently say that there's not much to write home about.

@@LathamPlayZ I'm a Wigan Warriors fan and I try and see a few games each year. I've been in the back and whilst the corporate hospitality areas are nice (in both grounds), the facilities at Wigan are starting to show their age a little. Bolton's are okay.

The new owners came in recently for Wigan Athletic and because they own the stadium, id assume they'd do something to improve the look of the stadium in the hospitality areas and improve the facilities aswell. Might see if i can get in the hospitality for a game this season, i imagine it wouldnt be too expensive as were only a league one club.

You'd think so, but apparently not. Most of the seating is permanently there, and because it's a former athletics track, it's pretty far away from the pitch.

The reason your “a million miles away” is because this stadium was built for the olympics they could of rebuild it or reformed it like they did for West Ham the seats are far away due to there was a running track there
the only thing this stadium really needs is more music events, and a variety of music too. could have some huge raves in there with 50.000 in the field bit on its own

I decided not to go to that one ... those ticket prices were highway robbery. Last year the prices came down and I bought some, only for COVID to happen.
I done security of all stadiums and I prefer Upton Park by far because it gives it a real essence of football and especially because it was an older stadium it was more togetherness and more family orientated the London Stadium doesn’t fit West Ham And I’ll reason why I’m saying that is because I’m a fan of football and a Liverpool fan but as I’ve done security at ball stadiums I prefer the original stadium over the London Stadium

I've been to this stadium before West Ham started renting it, Stratford is one of the nicest part of London.
I must admit, it did look nice. The surrounding area too.
I wouldn't say It's the nicest. Definitely one of the most improved area's though, almost unrecognisable from a few decades ago.

I done security of all stadiums and I prefer Upton Park by far because it gives it a real essence of football and especially because it was an older stadium it was more togetherness and more family orientated the London Stadium doesn’t fit West Ham And I’ll reason why I’m saying that is because I’m a fan of football and a Liverpool fan but as I’ve done security at ball stadiums I prefer the original stadium over the London Stadium

@@UltimateBucketList Yes sir because to me the original stadium brings togetherness and as what you said in the video the London Stadium wasn’t built for football if at Upton Park they done what Tottenham Hotspur done then it will be a bit different because the stadium would’ve been built to suit West Ham but the stadium was just giving and already built so only thing they have done was added picture stickers all over the place and the West Ham name on the building but nothing has been change they should’ve just done what Tottenham Hotspur done is build a stadium on the own ground and play their home games at Wembley.
And another thing will you be visiting any other Premier League football stadium especially Leeds United or other divisions ?
