First, it’s obvious that you are an avid and knowledgeable golfer. That’s very important to me in terms of your credibility. Second, you articulate the information clearly and professionally. I’m glad I recently discovered your channel. I was in a quandary about which rangefinder to buy for months. Your reviews helped me make what I hope is going to be the best choice for my needs. Thanks for all the work and effort that goes into your reviews!
I’m a Garmin guy and my Tactical 7 watch does a great job of giving me yardage counts off the tee, etc, but I’ll go with the Precision Pro Titan Elite when it comes to Range Finders. Device tracking, scoring, and its capability of pin yardage front and back is sweet. Also find that it’s one of the fastest in locking up with the flag for distance - it’s absolutely solid. I’ll score everything with my G80 (and count yardage on my shots/irons). Next up - the R50.
A while back I picked up the Garmin Z80 (been discontinued) at half price at a golf shop. I love it. You get used to it real quick. I'm getting 3 rounds before needing to recharge. There is a bit of delay when I pick it up to view the flag, which to me is the only drawback, besides having to recharge it.
Awesome to hear it's worked well. Havent used the 80, but the 82 is definitely still one of the coolest rangefinders out there, as long as you're ok with some of the drawbacks.
Z30 is probably the only rangefinder any Garmin watch owner should consider. I prefer using my watch most of the time. Getting laser distances instantly on the s70 at the tee box and not having to fiddle with the laser again til the next hole is a game changer.
SL3 can be had on Amazon during Black Friday for $359. Pretty solid deal. Wouldn't have even had the device on my radar were in not for Breaking Eighty
Yeah definitely a solid deal on the SL3! I still think for $100 less the SL2 might be the way to go, only because I don't know that there are enough differences for the stuff I personally care about to warrant the upgrade. But both are fantastic rangefinders.
Love the channel reviews happy holidays! I feel like with all the tech I get paralysis by analysis what I’m looking for is just a good rangefinder that shoots the pin and would give me the distance front to back what would you recommend that way
Hey Sean. Great content as usual. My Bushnell Tour V4 just failed on me. Looking for a middle of the road standard rangefinder without all the complexity. Any recommendations?
One video I’d love to see as you’re prolly the best creator for the job is. Arccos with Apple Watch 10 I know the ultra can handle a round but haven’t seen anyone review the newest app,e watch with arccos integration.
I probably won't do that video specifically, since I don't have an Apple Watch 10. But I'd honestly have very few concerns with it. The batteries on the new Apple Watches are solid, so I wouldn't expect a round with Arccos to use up more than about 50% of the battery.
Thanks for your reviews. As we approach the dead of winter and Cart Path Only will become the norm, which Cart Path Only rangefinder would you choose? The only choices I am aware of are the VoiceCaddie Laser Fit & Caddytalk Cube. Are there any others?
Whatever you do,please don't get the cube. It's an expensive one trick pony. I bought one based off the reviews, one of my worst purchases due to the ease of use not worth it!
I personally would go for the Laser Fit. It doesn't have all the features of the Cube, but I found the triangulation to be easier to use, and it's half the price. Here's my cube review: ruclips.net/video/h2ogsOrZwK0/видео.htmlsi=MdnwMafP0MDmaF5r and here's my Fit review: ruclips.net/video/RjvllOR7Jrc/видео.htmlsi=3ZonxHbxkDGgHsl8
I was wondering if there is another optically stabilized other than the Coolpix by Nikon? I haven't seen one so I thought maybe you might have. Thanks.
I find it interesting that you found the Z82 cumbersome but LIKED the Z30 in combo with a separate device. Now that's time consuming going from rangefinder to watch. You'd get verbally abused in my golf group doing that. I would rank the Z82 best overall given the fact that you don't even have to point it at the flag to get super fast and accurate wind, hazard, fairway and green info and its blind spot and obstacle proof. I've owned the Z80 and upgraded to the Z82 and everyone without acception is blown away by its features. Yes... its charging can be an issue but I've gotten into the habit of chartging it up on the way to the course every other round.

I use the Garmin S70 watch with the Z30 rangefinder. Absolutely love it. Highly recommend.

Such a great comparison video. Thank you.

Another great review Sean. I've been eyeing this segment but was unsure. They all sound great, but definitely will go with one of your final two.
Let me know what you end up with!

Are you going to review the bluetees series 4 ultra?

Temu has a tonne of rangefinders. That would be a great video to make.

The top of the line Leupold has it, and the new Canon also does. But out of all those, I'd personally probably go with the Nikon still.
