I spent $600 on this locker because it looked clean and it looked good. Guess what? I was WRONG on both points. Doh!!! This one is without a doubt one of the roughest lockers I've bought in years. But even in the junkiest and dirtiest locker, we find surprises and some treasures too.

Buying lockers it's a gamble, this time not so great. I think one needs to remember how very blessed you have been with wonderful and money-making lockers. I hope the next one is better for you. Congrats on the new granddaughter.
In Albuquerque, NM, the charge for dumping is $5.25 per load. Trailer is another $5.25. larger trailers are $10.50 to $21.00.
Here in Holland, Europe it's free but glass goes to the container with glass, wood goes to the container with wood, building materials go....and so on when you are at the dump you cam't just unload everything at the same pile
You needed a hazmat suit for that unit.

You need a hazmat suit for the storage lockers.
The back piece on the paint gun is a piece that sits against the shoulder so that you can fire it like a rifle/shotgun and maintain stability. Congrats on the new baby.
I feel bad that those kids have to live in such bad conditions . Praying for them .

The washing machine is a 6,6 kg small washer.very reliable machines produced by a new Zealand company called Fisher and Paykel.👍🏼$660 new. Made in USA

In UK I've never paid to dump regular waste. Paid a few £s (3-5) per bag of building waste like rubble, plasterboard (sheetrock). Even dump mattresses, sofa's for free.

Wow, that's even higher than here! But what a beautiful place, so I imagine they truck it far away from there, and that's why the high cost perhaps? We were up there last month to visit our friends, and I look forward to going back.
@@LockerNuts The transfer station is on a landfill, but the main sorting facility is in Tacoma. Their prices are crazy including weekly trash/yard waste/recycling. The 1st time I flew here, I knew I'd live here someday. I was living in Santa Clara back then.

Happy New Grandbar and you live in a great expensive place with high value lockers, people here do not make much, and truth we helped a lady by buying a nice wooden desk for my husband-she told us the stuff in the locker was her ex roomates that was supposed to come back in a year to get it, but it was 3 years they had paid for the locker so we helped her get rid of the stuff in the locker. she olny had to pay the last month and they were done.
I live in Kentucky. Most things are not too expensive here, but they don't have any bulk pickup. It cost me 375.00 just to have a small load of brush to be taken away. I couldn't burn it because I don't have a burn barrel or anything. I'm not a reseller, but that's just household trash.
Baby girl is beautiful she favors your daughter that just left for college. Enjoy her when u can. I am also from N C and we were not affected by the storm.

I dump in two states: FL and IL. Dump fees in FL are $0 if under 1,000lbs then $40/ton thereafter. IL is between $100 and $140/ton, but some places have a minimum charge equal to one ton. One place in WI I went to cost me $170 (with a bunch of fees and taxes) for about 600lbs. Outrageous!!!

Before I forget to tell you. When I was a new and very young house wife. I didn't have any magic house cleaning recipes. RUclips an email were not an existence yet I don't even think personal computers were I know VCRs weren't common or even available. But I found a recipe for cleaning grease off any surface painted wood anything I don't know if I'd use it on dishes unless I was cleaning grease on the outside of them. But you mix 1 gallon of super hot water with one cup of ammonia half a cup of white vinegar and a quarter cup of baking soda you mix that well. And it will make grease just slide off a surface basically.

Our dump is free for residential use but can only use the dump 2-3 times per week and up to 2,000 pounds of household waste per year for free.

We have a dumpster facility 1 1/2 miles from the house it’s open 4 days a week, and it’s free 🆓 no limit. They take anything, household trash goes in a compactor. 2 more large dumpsters for appliances , furniture and lawn clippings / tree limbs etc.
There’s a landfill about 20 miles away and it’s free 🆓 as well. 🤷🏼♀️

In Ontario, Canada, almost everything can be recycled. Even clothing can be put in clear plastic bags and put out for recycling. Items that can't be recycled, like mattresses, costs money to drop off at the dump.

I have 4 & everyone was a blessing, & they still are. 24, 22, 11. &5. 1 last year of law school, & the other last year fine art & theater she might go on and do her graduate. Then the boys are 6th & kindergarten. What a blessing.

Our area it’s free but we have to pay for our city pickups.
Also my Mom use to sample.. it would be in our clothes, curtains, the carpet, walls too. Just everywhere the sad things you stop noticing it after a bit until at school when someone asks you if you smoke and then you sniff your clothes and man do you hate it! It’s sad really
In my part of Wyoming, the dump fee is $5 for 200 lbs. and .04 cents per lb over.
That's much more reasonable.
Local town/municipal dump here is free (town population is about 400), including free drop off of oil, ewaste, concrete And they allow salvage/stuff to be taken out.... Pulled a $1000 antique Ford sign out of it a few years ago. Fee at Winnipeg (Manitoba's capital) is $91 Canadian ($66 US) a ton for solid waste. Next largest city's landfill costs for residents is $28 a ton ($20.35 US)

Oh Jack, this locker just made me literally sick to my stomach,🤢🤮. I have no sense of smell but the thought of touching what you touched just creeped me out. Now the paint ball guns, wow 😯, who knew. Praying the next locker will be a “ jackpot “! 😊❤ awwwww she’s a beautiful bundle of love. I’ve worried about them being in NC during the storm. Geez...We cried with you cleaning out that locker. $25 Yolo Co Dump for a full size truckload like your Honda could hold. Not sure about tonnage.

We were charged $15 per load at the dump for household. Mix loads of construction and household are $8 a load.

$95.00/ton Suffolk County Long Island. Some lockers are a dude. Keep moving to the next one. There is still fun in looking to see what you bid on.

I'm in Nashville area and we take our stuff to the dump, back in, and push it out of our pickup. They don't charge anything

In Canada where I live it’s $105 per tonne but recyclables (which your little washing machine would’ve been) are free.

In the UK we can go to the civic recycling centre and it's tree to use but there is a height restriction and vans/commercial businesses are not allowed. They have to pay to dump.
We burn our stuff, there isnt anything near us. Doesnt cost us anything.
Autococker was a high-end paintgun back in the day. Those pricey ones are probably vintage pieces. I remember they looked cool in operation with an external slide on the back that moved with each shot. I assume pricing has to do with made in the west vs east.
When I was playing back then they had a lot of problems manly with them leaking

In Nevada at my local dump it’s $60 a ton and there’s a cheaper place on the reservation and they charge by the load usually $25-$40 at the most . Includes a trailer full so I usually go to the reservation when I have a bigger load. Definitely spoiled over here .

We get two free dumps a year here where I'm at in Oklahoma. You just have to bring your water bill. We also have a free spring clean up where you can put as much as you can on the curbside and they pick it up.
East Tennessee Free but you must sort into recycling bins. Alot of folks resalvage metal items......

I work at a land fill in Missouri, and we charge around 80 with 1 ton minimum.

Doesn’t cost anything to go to the dump here in the uk. It’s part of your council tax. ( that’s like a local authority tax)
With all the taxes we pay, I wish dumps were included in that.

You should ask the storage place for a refund or at least half back, just ask them, for selling you a unit when they knew of the roach problem
My dump has a free dump day on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. If I need to go, I will save it til then.

I would be more worried about the roaches when I lived in California I rented a house, the real estate lady said previously it had been infested but they're positive they had got rid of all of us, I paid thousands of dollars later plus I ended up leaving all my stuff cuz they were infested with roaches I couldn't get rid of them

Honestly, I'd be tempted to dump the whole locker at this point.
Here in San Antonio TX it depends most people wait till it's free just have to show i.d.and power bill . But it's up there also like a 100 per ton
