To replace the factory tracks I used the 16" ones in front and back, I added 8" tracks on the sides as well in the front and behind the seat on the side, and then the 4" on both sides of the seat that you see. at.fish/YakAttackGT175GearTrac They are not a perfect fit replacement of the factory tracks but worked great for me and no complaints at all. I'll try and include that in an upcoming video where I need to paddle. It is very rare though, most of the time the trolling motor is all I need. The only thing that I usually end up hitting if I do is the top of the livescope pole and that is just because I like having the handle for it higher up but can easily be lowered with 2 thumb screws

I just got a 136, maiden voyage Friday !!! Awesome Going to add a Helix 8, so was worried about an extra 19# for another 100ah Batt for the Helix and backup ! Thanks for relieving my worries !!!! By the way does your wife know how much this essential stuff costs ? Will your children be OK without collage degrees?
Motor is awesome, after having one with a motor I wouldn't want a fishing kayak without one. I use the paddle if in super thick stuff that comes all the way to the surface, otherwise the paddle is more for emergencies if something happens to the motor or something
OK, ok. Awesome set up.....BUT, I do have a question. I have had an Old Town Predator MK for 6 years. The fish finder sat min the middle which I love! I love how you have your fish finders in the middle. I just got an Autopilot 136. I am setting it up. HOW DO YOU REACH THE FISH FINDER SCREENS FROM THE SEATED POSITION!?! I troll for King Salmon a lot on the Great Lakes and it would be nice to have the screen out of the way but isn't it too far? Is there a remote or do you just always stand up hear the screens?
I dont actually need to adjust or do much with the screens once I get dialed in on a spot, but otherwise I am leaning way forward to adjust. I do have the livescope pole close to me so I can easily reach and turn / adjust it though. That is the one downside having them out of the way, but I didn't want to have it closer and lose walking space and really wanted them in the middle and balanced on the kayak
So often in fish finder reviews you hear them say...." get the largest screen you can aford......". In one of your replys you stated one of them "was coming off". Do you think you will purchase a larger single screen? Do fish deep off shore??
I honestly prefer the quality over just size which is why I really like the 8600 series from Garmin, it is their top of the line units in terms of processors, features, functionality and screen quality. Yes they do make them much bigger than the 10" that I have, but for a kayak I can't imagine going bigger than 10", plus I use these units for ice fishing as well and so I want them to be portable and bigger than 10" makes them really hard to move around very easily. When I get a boat in a year or two, I could picture getting a bigger screen as I would be further away from it when using it, but definitely wouldn't need it. I actually really like having 2 screens on my kayak so plan on keeping it that way, but I will be taking off one of my LiveScope transducers as I currently am running two on the kayak and I've found there to be no need for that (after I did some side by side testing of the LVS32 vs the LVS34)
Oh absolutely! Check out some of my open water videos on the kayak if you want, the motor goes down to almost level with my screens, so not in the way at all
That is an awesome setup, I have the same kayak, and love it. I have a question though, how long does it take you to get set up at the boat ramp? My kayak is pretty tricked out and it takes me a good thirty minutes or so. Yours has more accessories than mine by a long shot, super awesome kayak sir. Why two livescope transducers?
Thanks! It takes me about 20-30 min to uncover and setup once I arrive before launching (I trailer it covered) and about the same once I pull it out of the water to get ready for the road. I don't mind though given everything I have on it and with all my cameras. I have two livescope transducers as I was doing some side by side testing. I will be removing one of them and running solo the rest of the year.
Love the setup. I’m a gear head as well and am currently modding out my Crescent Lite Tackle. Currently trying to figure out a cable pass through solution for my livescope transducer. What are the cable glands you’re using for your 2 livescopes?
LOL you got more money in those tracks than i got in all my fishing gear combined nice setup but im wondering what the weight is and how close to the limit you are.
These are the double u-bolt mounts I used to connect to the bar: at.fish/RAM-D-235U And used these short arms: at.fish/RAM-D-201U-C Then attached to the cradle / mount with this bracket: at.fish/RAM-D-115BU
I wanted the two screens so I can have mapping & side/down view on one and full screen livescope on the other. Right now 2 livescopes to test out the differences between the LVS32 & LVS34 and if there is a benefit in having two on a kayak (there really isn't). One of them is coming off very soon
I don’t even know where to start. The amount of $$$ and hours spent on this kayak must be crazy. Pretty damn cool thought. What do you think the setup weights?
Thanks, yeah not cheap - but I love the gear and tech in the sport so that helps make it a bit easier. Not to mention a lot of it can be used other times of the year too, whether it be ice fishing, or taking to a boat for a trip or two. Not sure on the weight, I might go weigh it later today and if I do I will get you a weight
@@AlexTimm Nice. Lets se you get it out on the Water. There are a few solid Kayak fishing channels. Greg Blanchard is one of My favorites. He does kayak videos out in Cali. Check him out. ruclips.net/user/GregBlanchardFishing
Yea waaaay too much money and time. His speed and range have to be terrible with all that weight. I'm sure it's at or over the rated weight capacity with him in it, I sure would be. Nucanoe is the only brand with good weight capacity at up to I think 650lbs. Every other brand tops out at about 500 max (Old Town). Most other brands are around 450lbs range or less. This 136 autopilot kayak with the motor and seat installed allows for another 500lbs of stuff, max. Thats the person and all added gear. My OT 120 PDL gives me 459lbs I can add to it. Me and gear brings me down to under 80lbs of weight left before I hit the limit. It already is unstable at this weight, and is tippy if I lean over. The more weight the worse your stability gets.
I've got about 200 lbs of gear in it including batteries I would guesstimate and I weigh about 185. So still have some flexibility with weight before hitting the max. It's incredibly stable since it is so balanced. I get about 3.5 mph top speed which of course I wish was faster but I'm happy with
@@AlexTimm You might be surprised how much all that gear weighs. With a huge expensive setup like that I would be weighing it and doing the math asap. You don't want to tip and lose or ruin all that money and time spent, let alone risk your life unnecessarily... I see lots of guys with over the top rigs like this over weight and dangerous where I live in the suburbs of DC where to many people have lots of money. Maybe you are good, but I'd want to be sure personally. Nice build regardless!
@@AlexTimm I understand that. You’ve figured out many other things. Here in Gulf Coast saltwater, a stringer of fish is an invitation to sharks to come have lunch. Thanks again for your video.
No offence brother but that’s serious overkill imo. Some great ideas though. To each his own - whatever works for you. And that’s a ton of energy drinks man. No wonder u talk so fast 😂. Tight lines my friend.
I'm within the weight capacity on this, but don't really plan on adding anything without taking something else off / out. I'm sure there will be some adjustments and tweaks after every trip out. So far that has been the case
Ridiculous. Just buy a boat…that’s not kayaking fishing 😂 Kayaks are for fishing where other people can’t. I have some amazing spots that you’d have to be Arnold to haul that thing to 😂
That is one perspective for sure (you aren't alone, had several others with the same reaction). To me, I love the gear and tech aspect of it. I can still get many many places boats can't. Plus you can't do kayak tournaments in a boat. Its a niche community for sure and not for everyone, but even for the people that like a simple clean kayak, they may find one or two pieces of gear or tech that I have on this as useful for their setup without having to do it all. And that is my goal of sharing it with everyone 👍 Tight lines and thanks for checking it out
You flip that Kiyak your not getting it back over . Way to much. Top seed before you load everything but the kitchen sink .4.1 mph now 2.5 mph . Just saying way to much. And I have one just like it .😅 Just my opinion thanks for your time
Very cool kayak over build. Couple of things though... You clearly have too much money and free time, wanna share lol? You really need a real small jon boat man. How can you even get in and out of this thing with all that stuff???? I am already having that issue and I just have one front track camera pole, 9in Garmin on one side and a switchblade transducer mount on the other for weight counterbalance. You are FOR SURE at or over the weight limit on this boat, depending on your body weight. I'm 6ft 250 and am close to the limit on my sportsman 120 PDL with the PDL, graph and 18ah battery, left rear NK 180 motor, two 12v 50ah batteries, two gopro camera poles, and my milkcrate and gear which is less than half what your carrying. (Batteries are all lightweight Lifepo4 Amazon cheapies)
Dont you think to yourself and say hey, i might need a boat? Everything looks nice but a bit too much. Too much going on. That thing is loaded front to back. Just my opinion.
A lot of people have asked that and the short answer is I am getting into Kayak Tournaments so I need a kayak for that. One day I will have a boat I'm sure just as decked out, but for now this is just right for me 👍👍
I wish I could win this beautiful kayak old Town autopilot either the 120 or the 136. I'm on a mission in saving our beautiful waterways universe using a kayak to pick up Trash and to keep it clean. I'm a very poor young adult trying to make a big impact in saving our beautiful waterways. So please can you help me win a kayak like the old Town autopilot please
An advert for what? (none of these companies paid me and none of these products were given to me - FYI I always will disclose if that is not the case) You might be new to the channel, I'm all about the gear and tech and love it. This was my first fishing kayak setup and definitely a bit overkill, but hey I love it ☺

@@AlexTimm Thank you. I am talking the winter to set this whole thing up since I still have my other one. Any ideas to improve this please share.
I actually really like having 2 screens on my kayak so plan on keeping it that way, but I will be taking off one of my LiveScope transducers as I currently am running two on the kayak and I've found there to be no need for that (after I did some side by side testing of the LVS32 vs the LVS34)
can you still cast while sitting down? i like to side arm alot and kinda scared id smack the motor haha..
Oh absolutely! Check out some of my open water videos on the kayak if you want, the motor goes down to almost level with my screens, so not in the way at all
There's a big 15k flex right there 😆
No, not at all. Showing what's possible, how I have my setup and trying to help give ideas to others 👍👍
Like the Buzbe tackle cases. Good brand with not enough recognition. This set up though, is just way to much.
Love the setup. I’m a gear head as well and am currently modding out my Crescent Lite Tackle. Currently trying to figure out a cable pass through solution for my livescope transducer. What are the cable glands you’re using for your 2 livescopes?
Awesome!! The only through hull systems that I could find that fit the large livescope transducer cable are these guys: amzn.to/3R2F8qw
LOL you got more money in those tracks than i got in all my fishing gear combined nice setup but im wondering what the weight is and how close to the limit you are.
Need to get it to a scale here soon and I'll let you know
Can we get a video of if you completely did your wiring?
I will work on it in the Spring 👍
Awesome setup. How did you mount the live screens to the aluminum cross rod ?
These are the double u-bolt mounts I used to connect to the bar: at.fish/RAM-D-235U
And used these short arms: at.fish/RAM-D-201U-C
Then attached to the cradle / mount with this bracket: at.fish/RAM-D-115BU
Nice setup man.
How hard is it to mount those yak tracks?
Thanks!
Really easy actually! Just a few screws
LOADED
Very much so!
How do I get a hold of you want to ask you some questions and advice
I didn't see it or hear u mention the guide post on the back of trailer
Holy fuck, lol. I have to ask though, why two live scopes and screens?
I wanted the two screens so I can have mapping & side/down view on one and full screen livescope on the other. Right now 2 livescopes to test out the differences between the LVS32 & LVS34 and if there is a benefit in having two on a kayak (there really isn't). One of them is coming off very soon
What GoPro chest mount is that for the PFD?
It's this guy: amzn.to/3JCXbAq
I have it clipped on to the knife lash tab
A basic question… where do you put your keeper fish?
I haven't figured that out yet actually. I usually only catch and release in the summer. I'll probably just do a stringer or something
@@AlexTimm I understand that. You’ve figured out many other things. Here in Gulf Coast saltwater, a stringer of fish is an invitation to sharks to come have lunch. Thanks again for your video.
Ahh! Yes that makes a ton of sense. Here in Minnesota we don't have sharks fortunately!
A head mounted fish basket
Love the set up but man that’s a overkill you don’t need all gear once you get into it more you would understand 😅
I think you have over invested for 6k subs and a short fishing season in Minnesota
Haha, I fish year round, but yes not in the kayak. Ice season is only a few months away 👍
What do you fish for??
All types of fish here in MN. Primarily Walleye, Crappie, Bass, Perch on the kayak
incredible setup ! :D I hope I'd buy a kayak for me...LoL Until then... subscribed !!! ;)
Thanks! 👍
Any interference on Garmin chirp sonar?
None
No offence brother but that’s serious overkill imo. Some great ideas though. To each his own - whatever works for you. And that’s a ton of energy drinks man. No wonder u talk so fast 😂. Tight lines my friend.
Haha, love my energy drinks! Yeah, going to make some adjustments for the 2023 season to simplify a little bit. Look for that in the spring 👍
Bro haha this is nuts Whatd this cost? 20k?
Tried not to keep track! 🤣
what state you in
Minnesota 👍👍
2 Livescope systems? Why?
I wonder how much is invested in this kyak
A good amount! 👍
My guy said what wheight capacity
I'm within the weight capacity on this, but don't really plan on adding anything without taking something else off / out. I'm sure there will be some adjustments and tweaks after every trip out. So far that has been the case
Where's the bathroom?
😂
Damn you spent some $$
Not cheap for sure
Seems to be a lot for fishing a lake
I'm sure some adjustments will be made!
I wish I could win this kayak old Town autopilot 136
I thought i carried a lot of stuff 😬😬
Yeah, hindsight looking back, a bit overkill ☺
might as well get a boat.
In the spring 👍
Ridiculous. Just buy a boat…that’s not kayaking fishing 😂
Kayaks are for fishing where other people can’t.
And that is my goal of sharing it with everyone 👍 Tight lines and thanks for checking it out
@@AlexTimm great point on the tournament aspect 👍
You flip that Kiyak your not getting it back over . Way to much. Top seed before you load everything but the kitchen sink .4.1 mph now 2.5 mph . Just saying way to much. And I have one just like it .😅 Just my opinion thanks for your time
Just buy a boat already!!!
Down the road for sure!
One day I will have a boat I'm sure just as decked out, but for now this is just right for me 👍👍
@@AlexTimm pretty sure your boat would be decked out as well haha.
@@30minforasn oh 100% 😁
I wish I could win this beautiful kayak old Town autopilot either the 120 or the 136. I'm on a mission in saving our beautiful waterways universe using a kayak to pick up Trash and to keep it clean. I'm a very poor young adult trying to make a big impact in saving our beautiful waterways. So please can you help me win a kayak like the old Town autopilot please
Yeah, the AutoPilots from Old Town are great kayaks! Thank you for picking up the trash I try grab it when I see it out there as well!
@@AlexTimm I wish you could win me a old Town autopilot kayak can you please do that for me so I can keep doing the cleaning
it's not even about fishing at this point, just an advert.
An advert for what? (none of these companies paid me and none of these products were given to me - FYI I always will disclose if that is not the case)
You might be new to the channel, I'm all about the gear and tech and love it. This was my first fishing kayak setup and definitely a bit overkill, but hey I love it ☺
No no no
This setup gives me anxiety. Yikes....
Ти за риба ли ше ходиш?!
Dude just get a boat.
But then it wouldn't be a kayak
Too much going on here to catch fish...
It's decked out for sure, some adjustments for next year and a bit of stuff coming off
