All the negative comments are from those who can't relate. But that's not his fault it's a true story told from a perspective of a black dude. He is not fake, he has been around for a long time.
But being black it's clear not word of this is made up lol. Plus we always find humor in our pain. Look at what we have to deal with, we would go crazy if not.
But it's not a black or white thing it's a culture thing. Comics speak about what they know if it is different than your life doesn't make it not funny. Learn how to see things outside your bubble.
It has long been said the best comedy comes from the darkest places. Sadly that's where most black comics come from. Hence the two best stories this season. Imo

Real world problems with serious consequences....The ability to make a fucked up story funny and put your life out there like that...... I am and will be a fan for life. NKoegs, in my case my ex trapped me by making me feel helpless to move away and scuttling any attempts to do so, isolating me from my friends by stirring up shit all the time, trying to convince me that I was so awful nobody else could ever love me and that I just irritated everyone around me... etc etc. I never got hit, but frequently got screamed at, threatened, walls punched near my head, one time a door kicked through as I was walking by it... It's not just physical abuse (or the threat of it), it's also some really, really fucked up psychological manipulation. But after him I moved in with a great friend who's always there to support me, then ended up with a really lovely woman who treated me wonderfully, so... well, I still have some serious PTSD issues but the worst damage, like him convincing me I was unattractive and awful, was reversed by that friend and that girlfriend 😊
