People keep asking how to do the nair dair loop, slightly delay your dair after jumping during the combo, and basically mash neutral attack (which should be assigned to a button) and repeat. It's all about timing, so you'll get it eventually. You should be able to perform the dair and nair on the one jump. You can also try use the right stick for dair if that helps. Also, try not to hold down when you do down air or else you'll just fast fall to the floor and not be able to do nair in the same jump.
Wait, so you only jump once on the dair? I’m finding I consistently have to jump after connecting each dair.
So you dont fast fall into the dair? Or do you?
@@matteonacc7010 you don't fast fall dair or else you can't nair
the only time i can get the dair and nair in the same jump is if I do a max jump but when you do it in the combo your character is like 2cm off the ground for the dair and still gets the nair, maybe just a skill issue
@@KahWaluigi How do you consistently get the right height for dair then? Bc when I do it, I just go full height which is too high to hit the dair

This guide was really helpful for me, I actually hated using bugs because he was too hard for me and confusing, but this video helped me understand how bugs works and his abilities. This was the most helpful guide I've found on yt because all the other videos are too confusing to me as I am new to platform fighting games. Now I can actually play bugs and I can be half decent.

This wascally wabbit's ledgetrapping game is insane. I love using the heart trap just above a ledge when someone's trying to climb up it, nobody I've matched with knows what to do about it. Either they get charmed and you can spike them, or they stall on the wall and you can follow up with a safe or spike or- well, just about anything that makes sense, really.

the punch at the end of the rapid jab is good for hitting the safe across the ground at a higher speed and also if you put out the lingering love heart then roll behind them and do the rapid punch + jab itll hit them into the heart whereas a lot of the other moves dont combo into the heart

Vid was great my guy. A combo i like is leading with dash into up tilt then down air combo it or go into nair from that and hit bat. Bugs is stupid fun atm

Great guide! Is there an easy way to get grounded aerials (or something very close to it) consistently? I often try to get neutral airs close to the ground and end up hitting above them and as a result can't start combos with it.
Just do a short hop, input the attack then fast fall to the ground
My problem is when I do this the nair’s knockback and it’s hard for me to go forwards and hit another short hop dair any advice?(Im on controller btw)
@Alex It still works at like 60 % on some characters but you can't do all the repetitions (you can do only 2 I think).
@Alex if your opponent is at higher percentages you can still jab and do your grounded up attack into an up air for KO’s

Ik this isn't a question but I found a decent true combo from 0, beginning jab, dair, nair then up air or up attack, typically does 26-30 damage
And for a harder combo with a bit more damage, you can replace the up air with a dair followed by an up attack

Lumpy space punch doesn't work because that's a grounded combo, it gives a buff when your team is in the air not the opponent. I know bugs be jumping in his animation but he's standing on the floor during that combo. (looks like you did a quick hop but it's possible its looking at the state of your character when the damage is triggered not when the attack was inputted.)
Either that or because it's a 10% buff to something that does nine damage it just rounds down to zero lmao.
how is the combo at 24:08 possible? i tryied myself and i cant do the neutral attack, i can do the down attack then i get grounded and im forced into neutral attack
Great guide! What do you think about the ignite perl on bugs, since you use a lot of projectile, meele mixups I thought it would be a pretty good alternitive of the freeze perk (forgot the name)
Yeah it's a good one to use too if that's what you want
slight -> jump -> dair -> uair is a bnb combo i use a lot
I also use dair -> uair aswell, generally when im airborne, but it works anywhere

This was actually very useful, I was already pretty good with Bugs but this video gave me some pretty useful information on what to do and what not to do. I have him at lvl 20 as of the current moment and he awesome, not just because I mained Pac man but also bc I like characters in games that have the 1930's cartoon wackiness. I hope this video help other people pick the character up bc as of the current moment there aren't to many people that use him. Awesome guide and I hope to see you and other Bugs mains in Multiversus coming forward, y'all have a bright future ahead of you!

bugs is such a cracked character its so awesome. its like pacman but good
quite sure this is a bug but its a tech for bugs bunny, if you use side air special (the rocket) and you press it really fast its possible to spawn in two rockets at once
Yeah its a glitch rn, i don't like to use it and didn't talk about it because it's a glitch they're probably gonna patch out
Made "after the nerf". I'm sure all Bugs mains know this time next year it won't be quite as easy to kill. Hopefully we adjust better than the Iron Giants.

Well for the order it's jump, dair, nair, repeat. Be sure not to hold down when you're doing down air or else you'll fast fall and land on the floor faster so you can't do nair. Also, if you really want, right stick is good for doing aerials and removes the risk of fast falling with down air. Also have a button assigned to neutral attack. Its all about timing.

I've been trying to learn how to do your BnB combo, and I drop it a ton. (I set the AI to dash when in hit-stun so I know it's a true combo.) After d-air, are you landing, jumping, and then doing n-air? Or are you doing n-air immediately after d-air, landing, and then jumping and doing another d-air?
I dair, nair, jump.

i cant keep it going through decay however iv managed 65 combo dmg (1more lol) by using a rocket after the last spin then upair ending up as a 17x hitstun

It's all about timing, have a button assigned to neutral attack too. Try delay your down air after jumping just a little bit in order to be able to do two aerials in one jump.
Bro I can’t get the dair and Nair combo every time I try to do it it cancels because I don’t have air to do the neutral attack it just goes straight into the hammer swing and if I jump I lose the combo distance do I need to use directional pad for it to go smoother or what am I doin wrong great vid btw great how you showed each ability and how to combo and ideas
There's a couple reasons people struggle with the combo, you might be doing down air too quick or holding down when doing down air. You could attempt using right stick for down air, but this is mostly about timing. D pad is just a preference thing for me anyways, plenty of people also use the stick to move

the only problem with landing combos like this is I always have an arya moving across the map in under 2 seconds
I was having travel doing that combo where u down hammer and then spin and then down hammer then spin then do the up kick to the bat. Can you explain what buttons I need to exactly press because when I go to spin after the down hammer if I jump up to be able to spin I like miss the opponent

Have you got any tips for consistently hitting those on-the-ground-aerials? Like your down-air into neutral-air, I am struggling to keep those attacks on the ground consistently.
I delay my down air a little bit after I jump so I'm not too close to the floor to be able to still input nair.

@@KahWaluigi Unrelated to what I was talking about earlier, just another question. I was just against a Superman who was spamming only the shielded moves and dodge, and t-bagging between ringouts. How do I deal with him? I couldn't get in to string any combos together and he would armour through all of my projectiles or dodge them. How do I deal with that? Is there a way? Or is this not an easily dealable thing with as Bugs?
