The only reservations I have about Cohen's testimony is that the Defense will pick apart the claim that Cohen knew what Trump wanted him to do but never really said the exact words.
It's one thing to say that Trump communicated like a mob boss and Cohen knew what Trump wanted him to do but that leaves too much room for speculation.
I just hope the jury is smart enough to understand that Trump has been a criminal for most of his adult life and he needs to pay the price...finally.
I appreciated both of their comments. No dramatics, just responding & providing context.
I was glad to hear the lack of stipulations about some of the "boring" details discussed. I've posted about it a couple of times. IMO, bad defense strategy, since the DA in fact has all the bits and pieces, and the jury gets to see them all. I don't even think the jury thinks it's boring; more likely to be impressed with how thorough the evidence is.
The spoiled little brat is definitely getting a fair trial because anyone else would’ve been put in jail for just one of the gag order violations

The Judge does not have jurisdiction over the witnesses. Just the criminal defendant on pretrial release. That's why he asked, rather than ordered, Cohen to not comment.

You do realize that Cohen lied to protect trump from the FBI investigation into Russia and federal campaign violations, including the Stormy Daniels payoff, right? It'll be interesting how the defense uses his criminal history to impeach him while not implicating their client in the very crimes he is on trial for now.

You would think you could spell "Cohen" with the name right in front of you. Cohen pled guilty to lying.. not to the FBI, but to Congress, trying to protect his employer, Donald Trump, from inquiries into his Russian business ties. He was convicted for his part in hiding the Stormy Daniels payment, and violating Federal Election statues...the same crimes involved in this case. Going to take some serious legal gymnastics for Trump's lawyers to use that to impeach Cohen's testimony without also incriminating their client.

As part of the "whole world" watchers I don´t fear injustice for DT. I fear that he will get a "special treatment" again. As before DT has been treated "very soft" concerning the usually far harder options your law considers for most criminals. Injustice can be unfair, partisan, biased and unlawful, but being too soft, like justice "light, no calories" can be a form of injustice as well. Your own people will feel suspicious, if all the court procedures go on in a two teared way like DT is dealt like all the time. People stopp believing in a democratic justice system as long as there is justice,fairness, equality to everybody and equal treatment based on exsisting laws.
