- I love Franco chains so much.. I just keep making the same reviews about them! Just kidding! I still get a lot of questions in regards to the difference between diamond cut and plain. I really feel every time I make a video, I get better at it. This is a really important topic so I wanted to make it..again.

Diamond cut is by far more popular. If you want that extra shine, go diamond cut. If you’re looking for a very simple, conservative chain that’ll do the job (high quality) then the plain might be your best bet.
word on the street is that you're adding more tri-color chains to your site.

I've definitely noticed the snagging on synthetic shirts and a bit of neck hair pinching from time to time. In retrospect I would have gotten the 3.5mm plain > diamond cut if I had realized how much it happens. That being said, I just tuck it in or rock a different style link if I'm wearing dri-fit type stuff...live and learn. I'm guessing a pendant would help with this a bit as well
I personally like a mirror or flash like shine, as opposed to a sparkle shine, so I’d probably go with the plain franco. Great video Braden!

My first ever Jacoje piece was an 18k 3.5mm plain Franco. It’s no longer my everyday chain, but I still wear it a lot and when I do it’s 24hrs a day. Gym, shower, swim or sleep. I even play ball in it and it’s never given me any issues. Definitely a comfortable and beautiful chain

I got the 4mm 24" plain franco and love the hell out of it! I think of it as the Optimus Prime cuz its a little boxier, Megatron would be the DC one.

I have the 2mm DC franco 22. Once in awhile itll snag on something but most of the time it doesn't. I wear it 24/7. Gym. Work. Casual. Worth it for the DC imo.

I have got a 2.5 mil d/c franco everyday and it got stuck once in my beard lol and a couple of times on rougher shirts, but other than that I haven't had any problems!

Another point to make about grabbing: if you have a pendant with enough weight to it, snagging is not usually an issue

I dislike the diamond cut besides the loss of gold, imo it makes the natural design of the link look bad, again just my opinion.
I love the JACOJE Franco's. I been looking at Franco links and by far the best I have seen are the JACOJE Franco link so why take the best link and cut gold off it and make it to where the link looks bad? Just for more cuts so the sun shines on it extra? It's not a diamond its a gold chain. In other words, I prefer the plain Franco and love my JACOJE 5mm Franco.
However the rope chains look great with the diamond cuts.

I rock my jacoje 5mm 26in diamond cut franco everyday never snags on any type of clothing. 4mm heavy link will be the next pick up. Then either another custom piece or a bigger chain idk yet.

I prefer the shine on the plain more instead of the sparkle from a DC but I also don't like the squared look. If you're getting 2.5mm and under, I like the plain because it's so soft and the squareness isn't noticeable in smaller sizes but anything over 3mm, I like DC for sure. From my experience, this is what I would recommend if anyone is like me.

I dont sleep with my cuban on because they can cause links to be out of sequence when kinked up. Can i wear a DC franco all day everyday and not take it off? I wore a 3.5 DC rope chain for 4 years and never had a problem, still looks new today. Wanting to upgrade to a franco.
Yes. I traded my Miami Cuban for a plain Franco just over a year ago. No regrets. The Franco is a great, everyday, versatile chain.

PROUD owner of a Jacoje 22" 3mm DC Franco here. Best investment I've made. The first time I saw it, I was blown away by the diamond cuts. It sparkles so hard even to this day. I notice it distracts people. I wear it every day and keep it clean. I really want a 3mm rope to pair with it now. The best part is I know I'm getting the best price and quality from Braden.

@@nick-vq1ef I got the 18k rope because I wanted a heavier chain and still be at 3mm. The 14k 3mm was too light. Since I have the franco that's almost 30g, I wanted the rope to be as heavy as possible. I want the 18k Franco so it will match the color of my 18k rope.

why are some silver chains really expensive in jewellery shops, weight?
24 karat is highest in gold karats I believe and silver yea usually its weight but it also depends on which chain you are getting, if you get a rope vs a curb link usually rope chains are heavier and or harder to make so they cost more
@@andyd1805 thanks man. There were two silver curb chains in the shop, round about same size but had the closer touching links so it was probably heavier but they seemed to have different shines to them, both were stirling i think

Diamond cut on franco design make it less look yellow due to the added bling.as you can see the plain have a better goldish color than the D/C and the plain have good enough bling while sustaining the goldish color.not all the time the D/C look good for the chain,some design look better without the D/C such this franco. Now the D/C is best for ROPES and MOONCUT design.
You are absolutly right in my opinion. When choosing an higher gold purity in the chain, d/c almost ruins yellow look. Rope chain with lower gold purity and d/c is the best choice besides franco with higher gold purity without the d/c. Good eye Jack!

Emmanuel Contreras i got the 20 in. I’m 6ft. It’s perfect on me for everyday, I wear it and it’s never in the way when I sleep and work out etc. Good size if you want to put a pendant on it as well. Buy some cheap fake chains from eBay and try out each length to see which one you like better if you don’t want to gamble on it.

James Albittar good call on 24 inch, probably will swing around a lot less then my 26. With regards to diamond cut I just think it looks more interesting and reflects light better due to the increased detail compared to plain. That being said I do love my chain and the plain is a cleaner look

Mine are technically diamond cut (Italian ones) but I don’t advertise them as such. It’s not as intense as the Franco’s

I think it's so good that you only sell 14k Gold, White Gold and Rose Gold, because that's quality. Anything else, don't sell. Jacoje is a brand that should stand for quality, all other metals tarnish, don't do any other metals, just stick to gold. If you start making silver or anything else besides gold people will blame you if it tarnishes, hence tarnishing your rep. Anyway, white gold looks like silver anyway, so why don't people just buy white gold?
