It could be worth mentioning, that Charles Edward is the maternal grandfather of king Carl 16th Gustav of Sweden. And, talking about king Carl 16th Gustav of Sweden, Patricia's sister Margaret is his paternal grandmother - and Patricia's sister Margaret is also maternal grandmother of queen Margrethe 2nd of Denmark.
10:54 That is Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom not Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. 11:26 Princess Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg was not the youngest grandchild but the youngest granddaughter as she had younger brothers.
There is a very nice photo of Princess Victoria at King Charles’ christening. She is sitting next to Queen Elizabeth. I believe there are 5 generations in that photo.
@@jshipp5469 I beg to differ. If you google King Charles’ christening one of the photos shows Princess Elizabeth holding King Charles and sitting between Queen Mary and Princess Victoria.
@@jshipp5469 PRINCESS Victoria, granddaughter of Queen Victoria and daughter of Princess Alice, passed away in September 1950. I’ve been trying to copy the picture but it won’t work.

In 13:38 the Princess Patricia stood out in the wedding pic. Can anyone tell me why the bride posture is different from everybody? Maybe it is a cut and paste pic?
@roweng.4245: How ‘bout we call ‘em “Papists” and be done with it. Then we can focus on something important like the pronunciation of “tomato” and “potato”. Or better, let’s call the whole thing off!
It seems the goal at the time was to keep the Royal Dynasties intact. I suppose there was a limited number of people who were Royal candidates for marriage, so it was, "Yo, cuz, let's get hitched!" 😂
Victoria of Hesse was also a haemophilia carrier..her great great grandson Felix has the disease. Mossy had 2 sets of twins. One of the twins Christoph was allegedly responsible for bombing Buckingham Palace in WW2 I think you mixed up Beatrice of Edinburgh with Beatrice Battenberg. Ena had 7 children..baby Fernando died soon after birth because of haemophilia.

Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone lived to be almost 100.
She passed just months before Charles and Diana's wedding
@harribocaplays7136 no need to be rude about it!
@harribocaplays7136 No prob. It was for the few who didn't know.
I was just giving massive respect to a true lady.
@harribocaplays7136I didn’t know that.
She was married into the British Royal Family. She was 102+ when she passed away

I see a strong resemblance between Princess Victoria of Hesse and by Rhine and King Charles.
She is a grandmother or great grandmother of Prince Philip

I love Queen Victoria’s royal lineage a lot and she spoke German because her royal husband and mother were born in Germany ❤🇩🇪🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦
Beatriz de Sajonia Coburgo fue prima de Victoria Eugenia de Battemberg y se casó con Alfonso de Orleans Borbón que era primo de Alfonso XIII.
