- A banging undulant race which I've done for three years on the trot. One of my favourite races over 10k. The weather fairies kept it nice for us just long enough too. Loved every second of it. Hope you enjoy, definite progress made over the last few months. Next week, Ilkley Half Marathon
ps. Sorry I messed the volume of the music through the race up. Just switched editing software so hopefully next weeks installment will be better π€
Brilliant Craig! Well done and congratulations on your PB. π₯³ Great video as always. Onwards and upwards to the half marathon π¬ π
Thanks Linda, really pleased with my little self. Turning put to be an alright year with plenty more things to come π₯° Appreciate you watching and the feedback π βΊοΈ
As always , I really enjoyed this vlog. You ran that so well and what a phenomenal time. Congratulations on a brilliant PB π β
Cheers Dean, after hitting the parkrun on Saturday I really didn't think this was gonna go so well. Happy on so many levels, glad you enjoyed π
Congratulations Craig. Another brilliant performance. You're running so well at moment.
Having knowledge of the course was very helpful. Didn't realise Eccup was hilly but knowing you're on for a fast time is the perfect motivation to keep going.
Funny you mention 'banking time' as I kind of do this during marathon. 8min/mile is 3hrs 30 marathon. Each mile under 8 mins, chips away at the 3:30. (Hope that makes sense π)
Ps. Mile 3 - 7:32. Running downhill is not cheating. π
Thanks Colin, really means a lot π I'm really happy with my progress this year after such a bumpy start. Plenty more to come too so exciting times lol.
Completely get what you mean about the marathon banking time, it's exactly how I process my races on the day. Really looking forward to Ilkley Half on Sunday, a nice relaxed run hopefully somewhere between the extreme rain from last year and extreme heat the year before lol
Great video and well done on the new PB ππ
Thank you and really appreciate you taking time put to have a watch π
Great video Craig, youβre certainly packing in the events this summerπͺWell done, sub 1:20 is excellent and a PB to bootππ Iβd be doing that in 1:35 but maybe slower with those hillsπ
Thanks Andy. Yeah the calendar is looking more like it did before 2020, really happy with how this year is shaping up. Reckon a stone off would help, maybe time to stop chasing cake around the country π€ π€£π€£ ps. 1:35 would still be a great time but I reckon you've a quicker time in you πͺ
@@TheRunningWhale We need our rewards post-runπWhen I trained for Manchester 1/2 I was running averages of 5:30-5:45 but I need to nail this heel issueβοΈ
Well done on the course PB π Did I miss the shoe choice? Tempo Next% got my vote π
Thanks pal, pretty pleases with myself especially ot being a lumpy one. Went with the Next%, was all such a rush to get to the start in the end I forgot to do a reveal lol π
Great video
Thank you and thanks for watching it really is appreciated π
@@TheRunningWhale you were just 2 mins behind me, I did 1:17, congratulations on your PB , was a tad hilly !
