I'll say this again and again until Jets fans hear it. Yes, Woody is an incompetent, bad owner, but it's absolutely not true that there are 31 good owners, and then there's Woody Johnson. There are maybe 5 or 6 good owners in the NFL. Most owners aren't any good and get in the way. We're talking about billionaires here. Does anyone think they just sit in the background and not mettle? Has presidential politics taught you nothing? Billionaires make everything worse. Competent GM/HC candidates will look at two things: the current state of the roster, and the resources available to improve it. They will expect the owner to, more often that not, make the job more difficult. You accept that as the cost of managing/coaching a multibillion dollar organization.
Although we knew Macaroni Jones wasn't that good, he looks better than he did in New England. If Rodgers continues to play better, which he has since the bye week, maybe keeping Rodgers wouldn't be a bad decision. Let's finish the schedule and the new regime gets hired before deciding on Rodgers. Tankers aren't really Jets fans. Would other QB's have been as good as they became if they came to the Jets? Jets have picked many players over the years that didn't make it.
Wow, a Mac Jones sighting. I didn’t know where he went.
Jets win !!!
I'll take it
