    ABOUT:
    Hi! I’m Valeria, and I’m a Ukrainian expat and digital nomad, currently living in Italy. I first came here without speaking the language and being totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. I'm a full-time content creator, so when I'm not making travel videos, I'm taking photos, writing and creating artworks. Studying is another passion of mine, and currently I’m finishing my Masters degree at the University of Bologna. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving abroad, personal growth and self-esteem as a woman living abroad, so hop on and welcome on board!

    NB: cheapest coffee in Switzerland you can find precisely in GENEVA (still under CHF. 4 !!) You chose the absolute WORST with Starbucks. And is (nearly) as good as in Italy....

    Great video as always, Valeria (or Nancy!) which brought back a lot of memories. I had friends who lived in Geneva for ten years and visited the city often. It helps that am fluent in French - but it IS expensive. Do try to get along the lake towards Nyon, Lausanne and Montreux, especially the Château de Chillon. If you really have time take the train from Montreux to Rochers de Naye. The views are spectacular.
    PS I was in Lyon in August, another lovely city.

    It helps the budget too that anyone visitor to Geneva can get a pass at their hotel or at the airport for free travel around the city. Thanks for showing beautiful Geneva.

      @@reeseofarabia get the free transport ticket at the airport to your hotel or hostel. it’s good for 80 minutes.
      when you check in at your hotel or hostel, you can get a free unireso card for the length of your stay or 15 days (whichever is shorter). it’s good for buses, trains (including to the airport) and taxi boats

    You’ve managed to get some great scenery in this video, but the information is utterly useless. Like, where did you stay? And how much was it per night? Accommodation is one of the biggest expenses in traveling and you manage to omit it completely.

    • @DramaticallyExpatic
      @DramaticallyExpatic  Год назад +1

      I suppose you haven't seen my other videos on this channel, but I will explain here - whenever I do budget videos, I never include accommodation because I believe it really depends on your personal needs (someone would be willing to save money and stay in a hostel or do couch surfing, while other people would not want to sacrifice comfort, etc) and whether you're traveling solo or with friends or even with kids (you can easily multiply all my expenses on the number of people, but once again, it will be different with accommodation). Thanks for watching and enjoy your day!
