I have one, but haven't tried it yet. I can't wait until I get an opportunity to do it. Thanks for the review pal))
I have one of these crossbows. Very impressed with the accuracy and power for the low price. I am not sure if it is better to use plastic or aluminium bolts. When I use aluminium bolt I have to aim high to hit a 10 meter target.

Lol... I see so many people struggling to string recurve bows when they're the easiest to string without any tools.. All you gotta do is step on one end of the limb and pull the other end up with your strong hand, and use the weaker one to slip the loop over the end.
Well, depending on what you are protecting yourself from, maybe? My guess is you are likely to piss something off that you shoot, unless you are a particularly accurate (or lucky) shot. I wouldn't count on it. At least bring a backup (knife or something since you done pissed off the attacker).
The 50 lb mini crossbow shoots plastic bolts and the one he is shooting are Metal which is heavier so the 50 lb one can probably only shoot the Metal ones 140 FPS when the 80 lb crossbow can shoot it 160
My I just got one and it doesn’t fire or the trigger does not activate so you have to with a knife or a stick push the string to get it to shoot . I think it has something to do with the safety
I have 2 of these 50 lb bows and have measured their velocity with a ballistic chronograph. Both shoot at exactly 135 fps. No way this thing shoots at 150.
Could you attach a string to the back and shoot it up into the top of a tree and through and down the back side, to yank on a tree branch and pull a quadcopter down that was stuck up there? I don't see a way to attach a string to the back that wouldn't get in the way of launching it. I think I'll have to go with a bow and arrow instead. I'm interested in this little crossbow because it seems a bit more smaller and portable than a fiberglass long bow. fpv.air-war.org
Funny Ik it’s a year ago but I just literally got my drone stuck and I’m thinking of doing the same thing, trying to shoot it up there and try to yank the branch to get my drone off lol

This has has to be an award winning video - most rhetoric for the least amount of bang. For Christ man get to know your teminology first, 'foot stirrup' for cocking, and then actually familiarize yourself with the equment before you present a video where you are supposed to already be familiar. I own five of these, two with 17" / 50 # metal prods (one of them for twenty years), two with 18" / 80 # prods, and one with a 15" / 28 # compound prod and any one of them are more than capable of taking small game, with a cottontail being the absolute largest mammal I'd ever shoot - IF, it were necessary to do so in a survival situation only. Recently took up bow-fishing for Carp and Talapia in my State of CA., where they are allowed to be taken with a bow. And what appealed to me about them is they are extremely easy to transport in the trunck of my motorcycle, much more so than my trusty recurve. Don't quit doing video's though, just familiarize yourself with your subject and do it again.
You can buy it here www.amazon.com/Tactical-Crusader-Hunting-Archery-Crossbow/dp/B0069T38N2/ref=sr_1_6?s=hunting-fishing&ie=UTF8&qid=1531692067&sr=1-6&keywords=crossbow+pistol for 11 bux.
I didn't come here to comment about how poorly this video was presented, BUT I finally gave up actually watching this "video" (?) after 12 seconds due to the ineptness of presentation and apparent inability to present an informative video for an item they were unfamiliar with, but I did stay to scroll through for what had to be the "money shot" here, more than seven minutes into the video before the crossbow was actually removed from the box - after that I finally gave up and went outside to shoot the new X-bows I just bought. Instead of wasting your time here, buy one and make your own video - I recently bought five "pistol" style crossbows by the 'Bolt' Crossbow Company at Big Five for half price on sale. One 'Mini Crossbow' ($15.00), two 'Blast' crossbows ($37.00 ea.), and two 'Pit Bulls' for ($35.00 ea.), and the reason for this was to have extra parts, if and when I ever need them, since the price for a new prod and bow string will usually cost more than than what I just paid for each one, and with the 'Pit Bull' being a compound bow with a steel cable for the bowstring, the savings is more than worth it. The one bit of advice I can offer is to buy the ones offered with an aluminum frame as you will appreciate the 'heft' and feel it has when you pick it up and fire it. Draw weight can be increased with an aluminum frame by replacing the prod with a stronger one, such as 30# to 50#, or 50# to 80# after that I would suggest stepping up to a crossbow designed for the higher capacity since they are better suited for the extra stress. I say this with over thirty years of using this type of bow and still have my original Barnett 'pistol' with its 50# prod which still launches a bolt just as nicely as it did when I first bought it, but the secret to this is to "un-string" the prod when it is not being used, otherwise it will lose its strength due to being under constant tension. Not to hijack the video, but if you were hoping to come away with SOME pertinent information, then I hope this helped and did not offend anybody - and the best advice I can give to anyone who decides to present a video is to sit down, write a short script, and then after you shoot it, sit back down to see if it needs to be redone - and do not repeat your self with "uhh", or "and so" or by constantly pointing at the thing over and over. Unless you're Vanna White no one is interested in this type of schtick.
