Should look up how atk speed cap works, there is 2 categories for 100% each which means depending on what you pick you can waste/benefit from different bonuses, but the actual cap is 200%. Generally: Category 1: affix, esu's, atk speed elixer, paragon Category 2: unstable currents, accelerating aspect, rapid aspect. Using esu's aspect on necklace, you still have 25% more atk speed before cap in category 1. With accelerating and unstable currents, you still have 50% more atk speed before cap in category 2. The best way to capitalize on the cap categories is to put accelerating aspect on your necklace since there isn't anything else but unstable currents.
Good info! Wasn't aware of the two categories. I'd also like to know where the break points are for skills such as Ice Blades in trying to maximize CDR.
A little tip here if you are not capped on attack speed, cus of a bad pair of gloves, and you cant use esu on neck, just offhand. Use attack speed potion. Gives a flat 15 more, if thats still not enough, toss a accselerating aspect on the gloves to. then it will be overcapped with potion, and very close without, so that you can use another damageing potion instead
That’s a lot of stuff to get done while sacrificing a lot of other rolls. The lucky hit resetting defensive skills is probably a good way to help keep flame shield active constantly. You may have to sacrifice teleport for that and keep ice barrier just for emergencies so that the only defensive cooldown to reset would be flame shield. That seems more realistic.
Great video Josh! There are a couple of approaches to getting permanent flame shield and I think you have covered the best one. Specifically, using ice blades to reduce the cooldown on flame shield once you have the best gear you can get to reduce cooldowns and extend flame shield's duration. That said, I am trying to use an alternative approach which involves using elemental attunement (thus avoiding teleport during a fight) and using Yen's blessing (thus avoiding cooldowns other than ultimate skills.) Elemental attunement has a cooldown of 10 seconds and Yen's blessing has a cooldown of 12 seconds. Both can reset flame shield. Thus, it is possible to get consistent flame shield if your build can get the cooldown of flame shield below 12 seconds (ie cooldown > 40%) and the duration of flame shield to at least 4 seconds. If there is a problem deep freeze can provide immunity and it will reset the cooldown on flame shield with three points allocated to it. I am still working on the gear but I will get there... I do not have a Shako and not having one makes both approaches difficult. In any case, thanks for going over this.
I love Sorc but after playing thorns barb this season and smashing every Uber boss in solos and even carrying people in duos… I can say that Sorc takes a lot more work to actually get the same (or most likely a lesser) result. And then necro is honestly playing easy mode too this season. If you need Ubers, you can literally make a necro alt account and watch your minions kills everything in helltide while you eat popcorn if you wanted.
I wonder if this would work on your new splintering lightning summons build. If you get everything max with conjuration, but then you can run everything offensive for max damage because Life / Armor / Resistance wouldn't matter.
Alright everyone, I’ve reached over 50% cooldown reduction, and it feels INCREDIBLE with the incinerate build. I see you masterworked your xfals a little bit. Is it viable this season? A lot of people are saying it's dead and you want either tal rasha and starless or tal rasha and a tempered/masterworked legendary. I was planning on spending my sparks on starless skies...
I used Starless for a few hours and went back to the ring I had before. Also with Starless' resource reduction, if you're running the Ice Armor trait that reduces its CD when you use mana, the resource reduction from the ring means your CD doesn't get reduced as much. Kind of wish they made that trait similar to the chain lightning paragon node since resource reduction stat reduces the mana needed for that to trigger.
You have to build different for xfals. Xfals triggers with damage over time effects but the damage xfals does is direct damage. Both damages are different so that could probably why. You have to build to take into account for both damage types (dot and direct). Instead of boosting fire damage over time or damage over time you can boost all damage, or fire damage. Or if you have a way of consistent vulnerable damage then you can just build for vulnerable damage and that counts for all kinds of damage to vulnerable targets.
Good attempt. I think we can still do better. I'm working on it, but the streaming crowd will more likely figure it out before me because I have a job. I'm not seeing how we call this a FO build when we are still spamming Ice Blades. And yea, Shako solves all problems it seems .. thats the hard part. Lets do this without Shako.

What is this bullshit!?
So if you spend a couple hundred hours and get really really lucky and play in a very specific manner, you can do this. Not bait at all, Sorc is great amiright?
I'm seriously not a fan of luck over merit. There should be a way to at least equalize with effort, but there's not a way to "work" to getting uber unique's, or perfect tempering.
So basically, to get immortality, you have to jump through 50 hoops with one hand tied to your foot while wearing a 50lbs belt and all this with only 1 leg. Yeah, Could be fun to try but not very likely. So many IF in there on random luck...
I just made a sorcerer today and was having alot of fun, now i see this and wonder if there are going to nerf the entirety of the class to ground. Either way cool exploit but seeing as how i need to be high level and need great gear along with great aspects and tempers as a newby this is beyond my grasp at the moment.

If anything sorc needs a buff for single target damage. Pulling this immortality stunt if for very few as it's super expensive. CD only shows up in regular stats. Temper provides you extra duration for flame shield.
i have a question pls help, if i use storm swell aspect and shredding blades, do they add up? i mean 30%+30% of vulnerable dmg = 60%? or just 30% because both work with vul dmg?
Is there a build that won’t take a year to farm for to solo LvL 200 bosses?
Or, just switch between FS and Ice Armor when needed so one is always on. While it doesn't give you 100% immunity to dmg, it's much easier to make the build.
Unfortunately in 80+ pits you get one punched through ice armor.
@@Harlock1911 This
noobs think ice armor will keep them alive LMFAO
u dont "need" to do the lower pits, you can just take your higher mats and have them crafted down lol
I said that enhanced ice blades enchant could make perma flameshield work with other builds 4 days ago on robs video called 'immortal sorc is back' video from 10 days ago, I suggested it with frozen orb because I didn't see a way of fixing the number of hits without using fractured winterglass, so really nice idea on the attack speed!
I got 4.4 sec with staff and i accepting that for the moment
Ciao man @RageGamingVideos,
Usually I play barb every season, I start season 4 just because I saw one of your video for leveling sorc and was absolutely amazing!!! Sorc this is season was perfect choice 💪😎🤗 GG man
ya still missing something important... Yens boots man im telling ya free ice blades and flame shields...
12:53
The point is "perfect" 😂 temper
How do you get this on a frost orb build while using fractured winterglass?
GA cdr on winterglass with all 3 mw's?
Well they won’t let us sorcs have decent damage output so at least we can tank 😂
Its so annoying lol.. i have 46,7% Cooldown Reduction and Flameshield of 4,87 Seconds and still not permanently Flameshield. Its just a fraction without Flameshield but enough for all the Pit Bosses to oneshot me every fcking time
"On any build" then outlines a very specific build that requires tempers, aspects and gear.
*OFC IT IS! AND IT IS FUCKING EMBARRASING THAT THE ONLY WAY SORCS CAN MANAGE ENDGAME CONTENT IS BY GOING 100% UPTIME FLAMESHIELD. THERE IS NO OTHER FUCKING WAY. Thats why I changed class and stopped playing sorcs for now few seasons at least. Most fun class to play just gets stomped constantly, zero fucks given by the devs because they cater to the druid, necro and barb fanboys...*
P.S
Sorcerer players who are casual players will never be able to get shaco and what not to get cooldowns to points where you can have flameshield 100% uptime. I play a lot for casual and even I havent gotten such stats, I stopped playing sorc because of all this garbage. On top of all this; I GET MORE AND BETTER LOOT ON BARBARIAN THAN I DID WITH SORC. What is this bullshit!?
Admittedly, I'm new to diablo. But if your immortal, why can't you do the max pit?
Bro I've tried every technique possible to get a devouring blaze roll on my amulet since your build vid and it will not drop or roll for me
So if you spend a couple hundred hours and get really really lucky and play in a very specific manner, you can do this. Not bait at all, Sorc is great amiright?
Man, you forgot yens blessing. I'd think it can help
Awesome sauce
Meteor build when?
Why is the Harlequin Crest called a Shako?
Because it is item from diablo 2 and base of this item named shako.
Teach me the way!!!!!
So many IF in there on random luck...
so, everybuild start with a shako
Not working anymore in Season 5.
Sorcerer fire bolt build clear pit 139 i got the video for proof
That build is boring and damage is trash r
I just made a sorcerer today and was having alot of fun, now i see this and wonder if there are going to nerf the entirety of the class to ground. Either way cool exploit but seeing as how i need to be high level and need great gear along with great aspects and tempers as a newby this is beyond my grasp at the moment.
thats not an exploit and they cant nerf sorc even more.
@@coroto the definition of exploit is to "make full use of and derive benefit from a resource" the resources he's using are items, tempers, aspects, and skills to keep it going please learn the definition before stating otherwise and yea maybe they cant idk i just started playing sorcerer.
@@RandyMorales-um5gl
In gaming, an exploit refers to:
The use of a bug or glitch in a game to gain an unfair advantage.
Exploiting vulnerabilities or loopholes to gain an advantage over other players.
Manipulating game rules, mechanics, or systems.
Unintended features or behaviors that can be used to alter gameplay.
If anything sorc needs a buff for single target damage. Pulling this immortality stunt if for very few as it's super expensive. Getting good specific required gear for one and then luck with tempering and masterworking. Lots of time, gold, materials and luck is required where other classes will still likely push pits higher due to their damage which sorc lacks.
@@RandyMorales-um5gl LMAO old people are so weird.
Or get a chest piece with plus 4 to all defense
I think you can get + to a skill and + to defensive skills together in 1 piece
@kevinsims5791 never seen that. That would be crazy
@@seancurry9769 i see it on build calculators as affixes to select when creating a build. I assume they wouldnt let you pick both if you couldnt do it.
You can actually have +3rank defense skill.@@seancurry9769
hard to get.. but ty
Where does the flame shield build the vulnerable creation from.
Still seems like winning lottery though :/
Why is masterworkin still costing me 5 mil to reset though
How you reset it
This is really hard to build for new players, there's no link even to copy from.
You cannot reach infinite flame shield even for your build... What is the point? If I can reach 60% CDR I will be immortal with standard fire bolt build.
For what I need to do all this circus? It's not "on every build"...
