for digital nomads, this looks perfect.
I love how the carry case has room for all of the essentials! I have seen some portable projectors in the past that don’t have space for the remote in their bags. Looks like a fun little projector! 😁

Fantastic review. Does the m2e suffer from the rainbow effect with the dlp chip. Always used LCD projectors bit im very keen to purchase it with the price point being ok.

I'm planning to watch movies outside with a projector. Can you recommend any powerbank that is strong enough to power the projector for a few hours?
I used three of these for a projection mapping class. Quality is good and nice bag and cables, also small and very portable, but you have to use the remote to change inputs from usb-c to hdmi, wish they had added buttons on the projector which is common.
Great video Danny you mentioned you would share the link for portable battery that delivers 45W or more power output with USB C cable would you mind sharing the link for the portable battery?

What's the difference between the M2 and M2e? One more question. I have the M1, just wondering how I can use the onboard buttons on the projector when I don't use the remote. Is there a tutorial for that? Not even any info on the user manual..... Thanks!
Other than turning the projector on and off, one can't really navigate any of the menus from the onboard buttons. There are none, even the focus settings are via the remote.

It is fairly quiet. You won't notice it. It is LED, so there isn't much heat being generated that needs to be eliminated.

Start with a cheap used Epson projector. You should be able to find one for $100, and go from there.

I'm looking at it on amazon but it doesn't actually indicate that its an android smart device which is unusual. I wonder how I can see what apps are available for example if MS word will work on it

@@dannywinget Although I could not get my Pixel 4 XL to give video output via the USB-C. The easiest I found was to put a Chromecast with Google TV and power it via the USB-C port on the projector.

Yes, it has a headphone port out. Or you could also connect a headphone via bluetooth, if you want to be listening in private.
Guys i have also same projector viewsonic m2e but for some errors i do hard reset after that only showing viewsonic logo and white screen i think firmware is crash😭 anyone know about that issue please let me know🙏

Anker A1291, although I can't see it being sold separately. Found it on Amazon for $60, which I thought was a steal, and I can also use it with my laptop.

Portable from a size point of view. I prefer to buy a projector and a power bank separately. I know there are projectors with built in batteries, but an external powerbank is a better choice. At least, I can use it for other things and if one of them fails then I will have the other item.
