- One and done! Out searching for snakeheads and the GRIND was hot and rough! Just as I was throwing in the towel I decided to throw the Gilly instead! Well it paid off with this Beauty of a BASS!! This one was all HEAD! This Gilly used was the HD Bluegill 90MM! I had an looker asking about keeping the BASS! Honestly I don't keep them!!#powerbaitGilly#gilly#Berkley

That Gilly is a very nice swimbait. I just caught my first bass on one yesterday. Plan to do a whole episode on it. Congrats on you Lunker !! TIGHT LINES !!

The most reliable test object I’ve found for making sure my scale is accurate is an unopened gallon of milk (8 pounds 6 ounces). Kettlebells and dumbbells can be slightly off, but milk is pretty consistent. If the scale is off you can get kinda close to the real weight of the fish if you calculate based on the percentage the scale was off.

WoW what a run!! That gilly looks sweet. Been debating on getting it. That dome on that Bass was crazy!! Looked Ike 21 inches from here lol. Scale may be correct.

Gilly getting it done! I agree, that looked like a 5 pounder. I haven't been to that lake yet this Summer, and I like those pads, the Spatterdock pads are drying up until they reemerge later in the year.

That was one heck of a bass 👍🏻 what size hook was that ? It was a weighted swim bait hook right ?
Thanks for watching. It is a belly weighted hook. I believe it is a size 2 hook. If you notice in the pic the bait is a little stretched. I actually put the hook keeper on there. Originally it is just belly weighted. Subbed ya 👊🏼
