I find the large mushrooms to be tastier, those button ones have no flavour.

It’s always been Marks and Spencer. The “Sparks” was just a nickname. St Michael is their brand name like Winfield was for Woolworths.
They do use it still on their vintage, retro stuff sometimes.

As I recall "St Michael" was a brand name M&S used till the late 1980s for some/all of their mens clothing range. I have a dressing gown that my late Mother purchased for me in the mid-late 80's and can just about make out "St Michael" label. (I keep it for sentimental reasons)! I think some ladies clothing had brand name of "St Margaret"!
St Michael's was adopted by M&S for clothing manufactured mostly by Corah of Leicester who's original factory was called st.michael works.
Sadly now derelict along with the rest of the knitwear industry because M&S took the work overseas.

I thought St Michael was the clothing range ? A bit like George or Florence & Fred. Could be wrong ? But I remember having a pair of trousers with a St Michael label in them 🤷🏻♂️
When M & S were in Montreal back in the 80’s I purchased a cardigan sweater there. I still wear it to this day although I would have to patch up the elbows. And yes, St. Michael’s was/is their house brand. Love/d this store.

We would have liked to try the Full English in our local M&S cafe but they don't do it everywhere despite heavy advertising. Very disappointing M&S.

Thought your breakfast looked reasonable but price is absolutely ridiculous. I actually had a Wetherspoons breakfast in London yesterday morning and it was £4.99 which was very good value and pretty tasty too.
Plus the £15 congestion charge 😆

St Michael was their clothes trade name. They used to trade under another name in the Channel Islands and now they are called M&S there but they are all franchised. Very annoying can't get staff discount😡
I was told a few years ago that manufacturers removed the bonemeal from dog food that’s why you don’t see a good old fashioned one these days🤣 I could of course be getting the Mickey taken out of me.
I think it is a good breakfast .i wouldn't complain. I think the mushroom is very good .
You can always ask for bacon to be cooked longer since it is made to order at the counter .tell them your preferences .👍🇦🇺😋 its a 8/10 id like freash grilled tomato. But no stress.

I had 3 of these in the space of 10 days in Bournemouth. The eggs were perfect each time but the sausages were a bit small. Mine were definitely 7.5 based on quality / price.

They look like boiled eggs done in the air fryer then peeled. They probably aren't though.
Soft boiled eggs, bacon and mushroom looked really nice, no tomato. To be fair, if there was more of it with a decent sausage it would be spot on but for the money a 6 is fair!

I agree about the eggs, they looked boiled. Bacon WAS dripping in fat, and, the mushroom seemed watery. I did not enjoy this breakfast. 5 for me time 11.14 am 😊😊

You need to come to Bishop Auckland cafe we don't do the full English, but the breakfast all wrapped up is amazing and the single origin coffee is so nice. As for your bitter coffee they clearly hadn't adjusted their coffee. Not bigging the work place up just me and the other half are fans of yours 😂
you didnt decanter the beans first and put the breakwater sausages across 😅😅 a fair 7.5 for me
When I saw the Cafe was on the same floor as Lingerie, I imagined an episode of Father Ted approaching! 😂 Breakfast looked pretty good, but in my experience, M&S cafes are generally pretty good. Not had their full english, but had the Bacon Rolls, and the Toasties which are usually spot on, as are their coffees.
