Join The MacMaster on his Journey from Benidorm to Alicante Airport to catch Jet2 Flight LS 642 to East Midlands Airport. A TRAVEL DAY to remember with some amazing views from the window seat, take off, inflight and landing, where he tracks his location on his phone on Google Maps so you can pinpoint where you are flying over and what and where you are looking at on the ground below. Also mid flight there was some BIG Trouble Brewing onboard which made the flight a little turbulent for 1 particular airline passenger.

Blimey Lee, I opened a packet of crisps for this one expecting somebody to kick off on the plane, now you owe me a packet of crisps as well as a keyboard ( the keyboard was from a few months ago when you caused me to launch a mouth full of tea over it ).
You know those big, whole hams you see hanging up? Yep, flew back with a huge one bought the day before and packed in my suitcase. It cost about 200euro but I split it with my brother. Lasted about 3 months with us noshing slices off every day.
You said we can take meat and cheese as it is in the EU - but UK is no longer in the EU.
Also, I thought you knew about the Alsa bus from the airport. Non stop to Benidorm and just 2 stops when you get there. It is less than €10.

@@loneranger5928 in Northern Ireland we use Jameson for mouth rinse. Some think it's Irish but allegedly it's stilled in coal buckets in Romania.
Last time I came through there I made the same comment about the time it took uk passport holders to get through compared to the non EU …. I got jumped on by border control and messed about for an hour and told my passport had been marked for bringing 16 sleeves back from Barcelona 😂
I understand that their holidays are over but the people on the bus look so miserable, maybe they're only happy when they've had alcohol.

I had trouble brewing on my last Jet2 flight in May. They had no running water so no hot drinks and no water in the sinks/toilets. Not the best!
I agree with you about Jet 2 being the best airline, we flew out to Benidorm in May with Ryan Air and flew back with Jet 2, I’m not saying Ryan Air aren’t nice but I found Jet 2 staff really friendly and the plane was more comfier and better leg room.

i had the same issue last friday when i left cala bona as breakfast was 8am and the coach pick up was 6 25 - 6 55, and so i took a couple of pain au chocolates to eat
I paid for premium parking at Newcastle Airport , we were packed in like sardines 😡. Only benefit was being closer to the terminal.
Hi Lee, great video of your homeward travels. Coach transfers can be a nightmare, it's possible to be on the coach for over an hour before you actually leave Benidorm. We travel to Benidorm twice a year and always book a private transfer.Actually met you last April and was on your vlog when you were leaving Benidorm and waiting for the Alsa bus. We are not in the EU anymore, so no meat. Also, the blank British passports are printed by a French company in Poland.

Any one who travels by air even for a couple of hours sitting and unable to move about risks deep vein thrombosis. Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) occurs when a blood clot forms in one or more of the deep veins in the body. Usually these will occur in the leg. Caused by -
Lack of movement
Smoking
Family history of DVT
Nine years ago i flew (with flight socks) one week after pot came off my leg.It was defo the flying that caused my DVT which resulted in three months of being on warfarin.I've always moved my legs/feet whilst flying anyway but some things can't be helped. The nurse told me I would be on warfarin for the rest of my life if i got another clot.

Lee I tried the bus last month to airport leaves from Benidorm every hour I think 8€ was brill and just goes from Benni to bus station then straight to airport. Do that next time save few hours 😂👍
I travelled from Ukraine a few years ago, and had a couple of sticks of salami wrapped in silver paper. When I landed in UK, I was stopped and blurted out, 'It's for my own personal use.' They looked at me and said, 'Don't do it again!' I skulked off feeling really guilty. I ate them with one eye on the door waiting to get busted. I don't think you can bring any meats into the UK.
I know there are different nationalities but they wouldn't be selling it if it wasn't allowed. What about those of us who bring sandwiches thru customs? Over forty years of flying and I've never had one take off me 😁
you flew over my home island of jersey ! my ex and i used to own a house in denia and did benidorm loads of times its a great place to have a laugh !

Love East Midlands airport Lee, have to agree about passport control it was really slow when we got back from a trip last year
Morning hun we prefer easy jet because the seats are cumfy and cleaner . Ryanair the seats are small and not cumfy at all and the plane is not very clean .. That's my thoughts on them . in November we will be flying with EasyJet xx❤

I think there is an app that pilots use for flight plan to see where you are on the flight. Noel Phillips uses it.

Hope youre ok mate regards to your family.Ive noticed a marked decline in RUclips of late causing me alot of concern.Its NOT your vlogs they are some of the best but its the amount of ads that you get when viewing,I pressed on a film review by a young lady I follow because I wanted to see this film and will not waste money if its not a good one.The vlog was for about four mins.39 seconds of ads before the start and she had only two words out when another ad break loomed.In total there must have been five ad breaks in this four min vlog.Yes Ive had RUclips without ads but had to give it up because of the crisis but there needs to be something esle as Im losing patience with this once great system.
RUclips have increased the amount of ads unfortunately. I personally won't watch RUclips unless it's RUclips Premium.
Good for you mate having the funds to do so and thats your priviledge.But I do think it will take a mass of people to signal this to OFCOM to have something done about it
Until Nov last year I think it was you could skip an ad as soon as it came on but now you get two ads and you have to wait to skip.Indeed this is why I don't watch very often as the ads are a minute long 😳.Not all youtubers have the ads and i won't pay for premium. It means that I've stopped watching those who have ads.....

Don't care what it costs - I always get the private transfer! Alicante is a decent airport [if they have the air con on] Amazing number of staff to help the physically impaired.[ I think Leeds Bradford has one!]

I can just see it, charging your phone from a bicycle you peddle; the faster you peddle the quicker it charges. Then sitting next to a sweaty, smelly passenger for two hours who u sed this charging feature.😮😊.

Fabulous scenery flying over Spain and France. I often wander if all the Spanish tourists fly with EasyJet or jet2 or they have their own low cost carrier to get to the UK, as every year there are more and more Spanish tourists here in the Scottish Highlands on holiday, especially here in Inverness.
The 2 Spanish LCCs are Vueling or Air Europa. But they do use easyJet and Ryanair as well
I have been teaching people how to drive it's good to coach them!

Bloody hell. I've never been to Benidorm but it looks grim (concrete Jungle). Bangkok far greener and more pleasant. Albeit a longer flight but at least certain airlines have mobile phone service and WiFi for the whole journey. Looking forward to seeing more food reviews from you.
