You can apply wax after you are happy with your results. In the video, they started with a painted door that had GF High Performance applied over the paint.
at 4:10, are you saying you added your glaze directly to your paint? I'm in the middle of a project similar to what you are showing. We sanded down our cabinets, and have just added our first primer layer, we are getting ready to apply some blue paint, and then finish it off with some black glaze. Are you saying I can add some of the glaze directly to the blue paint for increased color penetration?
