- ‘To Di For’ Podcast Host Kinsey Schofield says it’s “hard to relate” to Serena Williams’ “first world problems”.
Serena Williams claims she was ‘denied access’ to an ‘empty’ Paris restaurant.
The restaurant has responded that she was not denied access, but instead the restaurant was fully booked.
“It’s like first world problems, get a grip,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Terrorists are attacking children, people are shooting at world leaders, worry about the future for your child instead of being hangry in Paris.
“It’s really hard to relate to her right now.”

Try to go to the territoire d'Outre Mer and see the contrast between the Metropole and there, where the inhabitants are very underprivileged. Petain France is a beautiful country, but very racist. It is the country where the Williams' sister where playing at Rolang Garros and the public was imitating a monkey to make them unconfortable. A country where Oprah Winfrey was denied access to Hermes, because the staffs did not recognise her and did not believe she could afford luxury. A very racist country, but eh, if it had been Celine Dior or Adele, they would have welcomed you.

A restaurant that was fully booked in Olympic week, that's what restaurant. And she probably turned up at some ridiculously early hour like 5.30 or 6, when Parisians don't go out to supper until at least 8, so empty tables would have been booked. And why would it bring them good press anyway? Paris isn't Hollywood. Most of their staff admitted they had no idea who this woman making such a fuss was!

My opinion of SW true character was cemented, watching her at the US Open tennis (and it was only in New York at Flushing Meadows, because she could control the crowd). On three occasions when being beaten, against Kim Clijsters, Sam Stosur, then Naomi Osaka, she threw tantrums when losing. The latter, was the most disgraceful thing I have ever seen, and I've been watching tennis since the 80s, where she called the umpire a liar and a thief, and demanded that the tournament director be brought out, while on a rant about women's tennis. Each time, she tried her worst to distract her opponent, and influence the game by upsetting the other girl's rhythm. She had Naomi in tears while accepting the trophy, actually apologising to the still booing crowd for winning. Appalling. It was typical, cheating Serena. Footnote; she got her butt whipped on both other occasions as well !!

Having gone through a similar worry and pain… I cannot stop to think the princess Kate’s diagnosis is far more complex than anyone thinks. Even if she is “cancer free”, there truly is no sense of assurance until after the 5 year mark. If it’s a fast growing tumor, it can be controlled and hopefully the cancer cells are also controlled but this follows a patient for years. 😢
I don’t blame her for wanting to focus more on her kids, as she should, but being in the spotlight and trying to minimize her situation to keep as much privacy as possible will be so difficult. My heart goes out to this family. 💔
