    The Kendall cycle:
    1. Perform well in fathers company, earn trust.
    2. Attempt takeover.
    3. Live on pure fun and cocaine assuming all is going to be perfect.
    4. Make COLOSSAL mistakes and bad judgments
    4. Fail in takeover and have an emotionally devastating crash
    5. Repeat

      Chiv cycle:
      1. Want CEO position
      2. Offer xyz to someone in exchange for CEO position
      3. Work super hard and earn a bunch of wins for the person who will allegedly make ge CEO
      4. Once the person has everything they want from her, change their opinion, and instead think about hiring a different CEO. Preferably male
      5. Hire male CEO. Chiv is a dumb fuck

The way he hides his insecurities under a mask of tech bro culture and false confidence is why he's an amazing character. The very first scene introduced him perfectly. The show opened with him looking like someone ready to take on the world, loudly singing along to Beastie Boys Letter to NYC. It's sharp cut to him shyly muttering the lyrics under his breath is so funny. Perfectly shows the contrast between the outward Kendall that he wants others to see him as and the reality of what he is underneath, a sad broken rich kid

Unfortunately while he's deeply complex and just one of the best characters I've ever seen, he isn't visually striking and 60% of the time his personality and delivery is quite subtle too so its gonna take a while to ppl to get interested in him or succession let alone. The story ends tonight and still kind of niche?

The most relatable character to me. He had the talent, and I believe Logan always knew that he had the talent, but so broken. By his upbringing and his own vices. Logan's smirks during Kendall's statement in the season 2 finale- He manipulated Kendall into that, when he told him that he wasn't "a killer". He knew that Kendall would always do anything to prove that he could overcome his father's doubts. Chilling.

    • @jhakobe8833
      @jhakobe8833 9 месяцев назад +6

I think Kendall caught him off-guard with that one. He later called it a “decent move” when he was telling ken to back down. I think the “killer” move that Logan was hoping ken would go for was throwing Tom under the bus at the press conference.

Bro. From 7:40-8:25 Ken f*cking EVISCERATES Logan so hard he literally almost kills him. He pops off so hard that even THE Logan middle name F*ck Off Roy is like “okay okay damn bro let’s just do this deal sheeesh”
All jokes aside though, Kendall really “out-Logan-ed” Logan in this scene.. his approach is different sure, being decidedly more verbally aggressive than Logan. Think about that for a second lol. When Kenny boy goes off, there is no mercy and nobody is safe from the shrapnel (see the family therapy episode in season 1 for more)
To be clear, I’m not advocating for, defending or cheering on this behavior, but what I AM saying is it’s immensely entertaining👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
