seatown to golden cap 2024 fossil hunt

we revisit this location
unfortunately most of the lovely shale \ clay banks we saw last time that were covered in belemnites are completely covered in shingle ... but still a fun day out

Seatown was always a favourite beach for our boys ,yes typical finds for here .The sea was too far in for the tiny pyrite ammonites .We walked towards the beacon only once we did find some nice bits and my son was lucky enough to hit a nodule and found some calcite ammonites,so they are there.Good luck 👍

I had very high low tide so the good places were out of reach on that day 😌 but always good there like I said will try the other side next time but not sure if there's much there to find
