Had the pleasure of staying on this property back in 2019. The grounds are immaculate and spacious. My favorite aspect is how private it all felt. Never felt crowded. The steakhouse was phenomenal. Some of the best steaks we’ve ever had!

We stayed at the Majestic Maroge in January 2021 and it was absolutely amazing. We love the shows the pool the service it was absolutely amazing and we had a swim up in the adult only a section although we would’ve liked the adult only section to be monitored more because there were kids coming in to our pool, because we paid more to not have kids around, but it was still amazing

I enjoyed both of the videos you did of Majestic Mirage. Although my wife and i enjoy the beach we also spend a lot of time by the pool. You confirmed my thoughts about the pool(s) at this resort. I like a lot of space around the pool deck and a bigger pool so its not crowded. Some resorts have multiple pools so as to alieviate crowding as well. I’ve seen nicer beachfronts than this as well….thoughts? The resort as a whole looks super nice tho and I’ve heard the food is very good.
Thanks for watching! I’ve been to both the Royalton and Iberostar and def liked this better. Now I’ve heard it’s beautiful over at Cap Cana but also heard they can get a lot of seaweed at times. Barcelo Maya Riviera and The Sun Palace in Mexico have been my favorite for pools and Beachfronts. Looking forward to going back to Punta Cana this summer though!!!

Thank you so much! Yes there are definitely mosquitos but I only notice them if you left the doors in your room open to the balcony. I didn't notice them outside that much. I also use alot of my essential oils and they don't like them lol. I have an online store too! www.blancheandcompany.com. the Germ Buster is good for keeping bugs away. I travel with it too and use it to spray around the resort room

Is there a difference between the all-inclusive package and the club level package?
Thanks for watching! I used a GoPro8 and I use something called WeVideo but there’s much better portions out there. The club level is the adults only side and gives you access to the lounge and adults only beach access. You then get a butler, 24/7 room service and other perks but I believe everyone staying there gets that too. So the Club Level is basically adults only.
@@3Days3Noches The family blocks also have a lounge and they get a butler also as the Mirage is all Club level unlike the Elegance and Colonial.

Great video. I saw your video on the moon palace cancun and subscribed and saw this on the Mirage. We also booked end of May and I'm hoping things will start to open up a bit. Sad to hear swim up bar wasnt open. My husband loves that. And that the Elegance wasnt open. We wanted to check out those resorts as well. Do you think the mask requirement will still be a thing in two months?

I saw you also asked about Hotels.com but couldn’t find the direct comment! They offer you a special Spa package and priority reservations at the restaurants. You also get different colored bracelets than everyone else and the staff seem to pay special attention to you. Thanks for the kind words too!

Do you happen to recall how expensive the gift shop was? Referring to the sunscreen specifically. Was going to take just a carry on bag on this trip. Thank you.
I always just bring a carry on and just bring trial size of sunscreen. The ones at the gift shop are always over priced like $20-30 but wouldn’t be that much more than doing the trial sizes etc. Either solution I think would be similar cost wise

Just booked Mirage Club swim up room w/ 2 beds. Any idea what buildings are better as far as location/sun goes?
Thanks for watching! I did not pay attention to that! So sorry but if it’s adults only the ones below our room which was building 4 seemed to get a lot of sun although most rooms had the outside portion that seemed to always be shady.
Do you know if any nightlife was open outside of the resort? Was the club on site open? Also, does the nationwide curfew apply to bars and restaurants on the resort?
Thanks for watching! We will be uploading more videos soon so please subscribe! So we spoke with a group of people that went to a club called “Greek”. They said it felt safe and was fun. It was in a resort. With COVID and everything we decided to stay at the resort and they didn’t really have any nightlife as far as dancing etc. For the curfew there was a sports bar open 24 hours so I guess not 🙃
When you suggested booking reservations at certain restaurants, were those at an additional charge? The hibachi for example…
No it’s included :)
How do you make a reservation at the restaurants? Do you have to make them before you get there or when you arrive?
You can only make them once you arrive. Your butler will make them for you! ☺️

It wasn’t open when we were there in March 2021. It was just a small one that I saw 😊
I just got back today, swim up bar isn’t open but they will bring drinks to you, just give em a few bucks tip

Thanks for watching! They used to do foam parties but didn’t while we were there bc of COVID. Casino was open! Our friends went. They said it was small. It was about a 5 minute walk or they would take you by cart

Yes they had daily and nightly entertainment! A nice live band in the courtyard. And then they had the 24 hour sports bar and piano bar. If you are there for a week do an excursion. It breaks it up!
How was the service? Do they come by and get your drinks or did you have the get up and get your own drinks at the bar?
It was a little slow. I think they were understaffed when I went. But they will come by and serve you if you’re patient.
Is the alcohol included for the all inclusive or you have to pay out of pocket for that?

Yes they do! Sometimes it takes a bit because they are serving many but they do serve on the beach!

If pools close at 6pm, how do they keep guests from jumping in when they have a swim up suite?

That’s a great question. I’m pretty sure you can swim in your swim up section any time as long as you’re not disturbing others. I def saw people in their swim up suite pools after 6!

Sounds fun! I’ve been to Iberostar, Royalton and Majestic and Majestic was my favorite so far! I could see why you might want to do something like the Hard Rock with your kids. Hey there. I’m so confused. I booked for the colonial and I’m getting sent here apparently from all the reviews. Do you know of these hotels are connected or something? Am I still going to be happy if they put me here instead of what I booked which was the colonial 🤷🏻♀️
Don’t worry you’re going to have an amazing time. From what I understand this is a much better option than the colonial! This is the upgraded version.
all 3 of the Majestic resorts fall under the same umbrella and are physically connected...you will (or have already) enjoy the Mirage!

Is this the same as Majestic Elegance Punta Cuna?
The Majestic Elegance is next door. It was closed when we were there. This is a different property!
Staying there in October. I am curious if you know how deep the deepest part of the pool is? Last resort we stayed at was at most 3 feet deep and it sucked.
I think it’s 5 feet. Most resorts don’t have an actual deep end because of liability etc! But I’m 5’9 and it went up to my shoulders at least!
If I am an adult staying in the family building with other family members, but I have no children, am I allowed to go into the adult section or do I have to stay in the family section ie Beach and lounge. No children would be with me during this time?
They probably will let you for sure. You might have a different bracelet etc but as long as you’re an adult etc :). Thanks for watching!!

Yes but they are small and kind of hidden. They don’t have a big one
Curious how did you set up COVID test for return into USA? Was there any testing facility at the airport?
The resorts have them onsite. They do have them at the airport too but there are long lines. Just like the US there are testing sites everywhere

I thought the Wi-Fi was pretty good. I agree on the beach it was not but we were able to FaceTime from the pool areas and watch videos.

How many buffets? I’m so upset that I booked this, it looks so boring. I booked colonial and it looked fun even during Covid. This sucks.
Two buffets and they were open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you get bored definitely do the excursion to La Soana it’s definitely a party day. Also some other people staying there told us about a club called The Greek that was 10-15 away and open until 4am.
Spent 5 days in March with 11 and 13 year old. Definitely would not go with kids there again. Only 1pool for families, no activities for them either. The only time they actually had fun was when we went on excursions.
