I'm completely mesmerized by the colors and your incredible dreamy images, I'm so glad you don't stray from your signature style which would be so tempting with such a successful RUclips channel, everything is just so perfectly beautiful and so YOU! Well done on another wonderful session, Irene! Watched a second time, just to see those purple flowers again during the last part of your video, so stunning!
This is "my" hierarchy of importance to a getting a stunning photo... 1. Photographer and talent 2. Model and posing 3. Camera and lens 4. Location 5. Editing Bonus: Footlocker guy doing great videography 😇 I really really like Irene's style of photography and editing !!!
The one at 8:22 stands out the most. It's because of the glowing colours; you've got the reds of her cheeks, her lips, her hair, and slight green of the leaves on the tree and then the golden light above her which is very godly and halo-like. This gives me some insight on what to do with my models and photos. Thanks for all this :-)!
How do you meter your backlit shots? Spot metering off the model's face? Center-weighted? It's impressive how you get the model and background both in such good exposures.
that was aslo exactly my question in mind. if Irene doesn't meter by her camera by tilting her camera from the mode's face to a point below than she probably focuses first on face and then changes the camera view and makes a shot.
I watched a lot of portrait photographers and realize that post photo editing seems most important. Take an average model, any location (backyard bush), good lens and excellent editing skills, practise a lot and you are one good portrait photographer.
Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. Editing should always be secondary and only enhance the image, you cannot make an awesome image from a shitty raw.
damn ive seen guys on youtube bringing so much lights and so much assistance with them to take this kind of photos but you. one woman action YO ! motivation right here. aloha
Love all your considerations-thoughtflow sharings. I especially love the improvising when you illustrated for the model to hold the flower sideway and kinda blow the petals away - I thought it be even cooler if the petals were actually blown away as you shoot.
I really love your videos, the way you capture portraits, the way you edit your photos. Since I was young photography is my dream but I don't have the equipment because it's to expensive for mte to buy one.
you are ABSOLUTELY my favorite portrait photographer. I draw so much inspiration from you, that at this point I'm waiting for you to release a book that I could wait in line to have signed by you! Amazing shots, simply amazing...
Use a reflector to bounce some of the light from the sun back onto your models face. If not, shoot in RAW and you can just use selective exposure while editing. Only thing is, you don't get her eyes to light up like you would with a reflector. Editing is an important process of a photo, barely any photo comes out of the camera looking spot on.
I have the same problem. Whenever I try shooting backlit photos during golden hour, my subject becomes silhouette. I need some help. Thank you so much.
Oh my god..you keep me amazed everytime..those backlit shots and the final results have such a pop as if a strobe was used..the compositions are supper and the models you pick are gorgeous..you re such an inspiration..I love your style so much and i have so many shots i sometimes feel you shot them i am that influenced by your work but i use lighting and strobes with different modifiers..everytime i begin shooting i shoot natural but when i look at the shots on my backscreen i don t like them so i instantly begin adding lights..maybe i should go without my lighting kit so i ll be forced to shoot only natural and then try in post to add that pop ...you re the only photographer that shoots almost everytime with a dslr and one or two lenses without even a reflector but yet everytime your pics are simply fabulous dreamy ..спасибо😘😘
You do a beautiful job with your videos and you are a amazing portrait photographer, something I can’t do. I’ve always done sports, wildlife, anything Ariel Photography. Then I watch a lot of you guys and I feel like I’m the only one shooting Nikon lol so many Cannon cameras
Thank you for the beautiful images. I particularly like the tips and instructions you gave on model and scenery along the way of photo shots. Explaining how and why was very helpful to me, since I'm just started learning about portrait shot. Appreciate you for your time and effort. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Chris.
I am inspired with you photography tips and tricks and I love it ...... Keep it continue and learning us more and more about photography and model shoot

Great as always Irene you make it look simple but it is your skill that realy makes the pictures. The photographer is as pretty as the model.
How do you meter your backlit shots? Spot metering off the model's face? Center-weighted? It's impressive how you get the model and background both in such good exposures.
I think she used spot Metering.
@@rajib045 That would be my guess, but a reply would be nice. Thanks for your thoughts.
I don't meter in camera.

@@Zabarotropitili She shoots auto.
I typically shoot off camera flash on my channel. This is a dope natural light shoot, thank god for dodge and burn making the model pop!
The photo with the flowers in the background was amazing Irene...
Model, places, lights and touch of nature... everything was so beautiful ! The results are amazing.
Congratulations.
The bro should quit Foot Locker and start making vids full time! :D Another awesome vid guys! :)

I love the way you narrate your videos Irene.. OK, I think I could have written this under one of your other videos :)..
Love the backlit shots at the beginning of the video. The Second location was also great. Any backlit light hitting a Redhead looks great to me.
Amazing!!!!!! Awesome photography!!! Beautiful model as well!
People with red hair always look good in green! !!!! Love it.
Definitely!

She loook like an angel through your photos!!!🌷💕
It's great to see how you worked with natural lights as main light and fill light
Very beautiful portrait shoot. It reminded me of a lot of the 70s photographs, it has a very nostalgic look.
damn ive seen guys on youtube bringing so much lights and so much assistance with them to take this kind of photos but you.

The cinematic sequences with the camerawork on gimbal was nice 👍

could you give us on some tips for lighting the subject's face/body when there is backlighting since that usually darkens the subject
