Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf RUclips channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.
If you enjoy this channel, please feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bells so you don’t miss out on any of our latest golfing vlogs.

Congrats to your parents, they raised two wonderful people that are even better as a team. Thx for the great videos.
Great Comment. True
you guys really should try to play a few holes with that old caddy guy who owns the golf store, or do an interview with him and see what stories he has, I bet that'd be a good video
2:30 John "It's a little windy today"
Look at the box in front of him...GONE WITH THE WIND 😂
Love it guys. Keep going!
Good spot 🤣
Dammit I came to leave this comment 😂
I am not a golfer but I am a Jon and Ashley fan. ASHLEY in caps. I am guessing you folks are in serious love.
Darn, same here I was going to point this out but you beat us too it!
The F2 wedge you mentioned brought back great memories. Many years ago, I spent 4 days in Vegas all expenses paid by F2 to test their products and be in their infomercial. As if that wasn't enough, I went home with a full set of their irons, wedges and a new putter they were bringing out. I also won over $500 on a slot machine while I was at it and went home with more money than I took out there to start with! Four glorious days!
Most entertaining! Don’t ever lose the youthful and exuberant outlook. Most refreshing and what is needed these days.
Sometimes I find myself yelling “John, just keep walking. There’s nothing there you really need.”
Stan Thompson was very prolific back in the day as a club designer. Mostly putters as far as I know. I played one of his composite mallets with a brass back piece made by Confidence Golf I think...1960’s.
Absolutely love these guys two of the most genuine people I've ever watched on RUclips. Always pleasant to everyone plus make a lovely couple. You deserve everything good thing that comes your way I hope to see you reach 100.000 subs . Hi from Ireland 🇮🇪
I played a round today for the first time in ages and played dreadfully. But since watching this channel in lockdown I appreciate it much more now than ever before, so smiled and enjoyed just playing the beautiful game 😊
Glad you enjoyed your first time out. It’s just a nice place to be regardless of how you play ⛳️👍😊 -Ash
Jon looking through the window of the golf store drooling - brilliant! The guy with the red balaclava is a legend.
My friend Hickory 1 has a hand made wooden headed putter. It's more a piece of art than just a golf club.
Myself, Hickory 2, I am using a WJ Richardson proper blade putter, like the hickory shafted one you looked at. It's from the 1920s or 30s and I am trying to find out more about Mr Richardson. He was professional at Brookmans Park in England. I have a photo of him. Very dapper - there's a word you don't often hear anymore!
So happy that you have found your Holy Grail without having to involve the French soldier.
Nothing like drooling on a Monday morning! That Taylormade bag is AWESOME! And for $20!!! Ashley, you sweet talker, you! But the highlight of the day is Jon's Zero. Dude, it was kismet. You were super good to your Pop, and fate smiled upon you. May you enjoy the Zero, though I doubt you'll ever get to be as good as the World's Greatest Putter! Love you kids! Jim
Who else is ready to see Ashley drive it over the bunker? I’ve got confidence in her now!
Every club John touches is his favorite club of all time lol 😂 Ashley I think we all need a intervention for your husband this Wednesday work Ashley lol 😂
Haha but then we will have to have one for me with all my favorite golf bags 🤣 -Ash
@@StackedGolf Why do you say Grail then go away from it for a minute, then come right back and say oh i found my grail club!!! Bad editing or bad joke? lol Can't find the same deals in a big California city like this though... Sick USA Bag though!
I enjoy listening to you and your wife the knowledge that you have on the different clubs and bags and I really enjoy your show
Well, I have binge watched all your golf videos and I have liked every one of them. Guess it is time to go watch ya'll fish. Thanks very much for taking the time to make them. I think the best videos are the ones where you shop first then go to the course for a 4 or 5 hole scramble.
Excellent find! That persimmon putter looked awesome!
That was really cool ⛳️👍 -Ash
I had a Stan Thompson 4w that was so pretty and was my favorite club, but the persimmon head cracked on the 28th hole of the 1984 California Community College State Tournament in Monterey, I forget the courses but there were two 18 hole courses and they were very old and Sam Snead called this one hole the tightest fairway in Golf, you had to hit out of a chute and had to keep your drive very low so not to hit the over hanging branches, the fairway was about 18 yards wide with a water canal on the left and thick trees on the right.
Amazing that you have flea markets with golf specific shops............ Keep having fun
What’s your holy grail club set? Thanks John
9:28 "Stan Thompson, hmm" priceless! Stanley Thompson was a highly respected golf course architect. Responsible for some of Canada's top courses including St Georges in Toronto. He also designed plenty in the USA and other countries as well. He was a top amateur golfer too.
Calloway ripped off Stan Thompson's "boat sole" clubs and renamed them Bertha's.
I have a mint set of Thompson woods with a ginty rescue club, awesome design.
That putter was the real deal there and they tossed it back.
Hey Kids. Great video. Yes, it was windy up in Ga. today as well. Next time out, look for me a Hogan Medallion in the middle of the back, 8 iron with (hogan system) graphite shaft. The later medallion club. Left mine on a local course. Went back to retrieve it but was not there! No one had seen it. Oh btw, Ashley might benefit from some Yonex womans clubs. Super sweet and easy to hit. Try em you might like em.
That guy looked like Golum! He didn't want to let go of his precious!
Glad Jon & Ashley got a Ping Zero at last. I will be going out soon with my Ping retro set. Eye irons+ Chipo & Zero. Thanks for getting me back to golf and golf club collecting!
My dog walked in the room while I was watching the end of this and promptly sat down.
Well trained....lol
He was holding onto that Ping for so long I half expected Fuzzy to say "on second thoughts, I don't really want to lose it". Surprised you didn't pick up the Thompson though - that looked very nice.
Love your videos. I don't play ball golf any more, but I finance my current disc golf habit with the clubs I find at Goodwill. Downside is that I can't resist a set of vintage Pings missing one iron, of which I have three in my shed right now. It's a sickness......keep up the good work!
First video ive watched, Yall are great together! Love to see it and keep up the videos! Definitely will continue to watch!
keep it going. I. am an old duffer that had 5 byPass surg and chest didn't heal for about 6 years. so i had to stop playing. But watching you two I would love to get back at it but now I have something wrong with my right Shoulder. I was thinking of getting to get you to send me a set of clubs but I live in Canada . I. am going to find a friend with some clubs and try to swing and see what I can do. But love to watch and droll.
Hey John and ash.i have allways loved your videos they have allways inspired me to go out and find my own clubs like you guys. Thanks
That’s awesome! So glad you like the videos 😊 -Ash
I have one of those Isopur putters and I love the look of it but I hate how it feels. It never felt right and I eventually figured out the sweet spot was about 1/2 inch off center toward the shaft. If I hit it at the center line it always felt like a mishit.
You could do a show interviewing various people like this guy that caddied for some of the greatest golfers.
Love the videos guys! All the way from Australia!! :)
Thanks Kurt!
I actually got a mint set of Titleist tour models 2-p for $26 and a brand new pair of the foot joy boa golf shoes for $30 from salvation army, that was a very good haul. Hunting golf clubs is so addictive. You guys are great
Power to you. You are winning the war of attrition and are not controlled, by the dictates of the "hive"!
Ps Ashley is "super quite"!!!!
Great couple to watch...and listen to your conversations. Both bright and quick! 😎👍
Thanks for the great videos - hope you keep them coming. Really enjoy all aspects of them.
I'm a Ping putter fan as well. I have 3 that are similar to the zero - Auld, B63 and Eye. Awesome putters offset
I bougth a Ping Zero putter two weeks ago here in Argentina for 1800 pesos that is like 13 dollars, is in mint condition, love that thing, in fact, he replaces my modern putter in the bag, and i´m pretty happy with the result by now.
Your honesty is a beautiful thing, a shame that it’s so remarkable, love you guys ❤️
I would have loved watching the World’s Greatest Putter using either the hickory shafted or the persimmon headed putter. Go back and get them for a future episode...please!
I like golf and I also like both of your enthusiasm for the game. Nice smiles.
The most perfectly matched couple ever 👍
Just went to goodwill and bought a set of touredge HP3 irons from 3-9 as well as a putter and a bazooka driver for $23!!! So excited!!
I picked up a bubble shaft 3 wood a few weeks ago for $2 and it's become my favourite club. Keep the thrifting videos coming, love them all.
Another grail find! Nice work
Had to subscribe. You guys are very entertaining and very knowledgeable.
If it's not too late, ask Fuzzy if he'll tell you some of his stories on camera.
You could also ask him about some of the older clubs you cherish the most. This sort of info can disappear so quickly otherwise.
Have you guys done any videos on Kenneth Smith irons? Curious to Jon's thoughts on the irons and Ashley's thoughts on the putter. Thanks!
Gonna make it to 1 mil soon I know it you guys are awesome
Thanks Again!
Are there any non conforming iron sets that you know about? I'm trying to put together a full bag of non conforming clubs. Drivers are easy, irons seem to be the hardest to find.
I have a whole set of Stan Thompson golf clubs. Beverly Hills 1-10 woods, RC 20X irons 3-sw and that same putter.
Another lush bag great find. You guys have to go back and get the golf bag mail box how cool is that.
I’ve never seen that before! Hopefully he will be open the next time we go 👍 -Ash
Man I’m trying to find a square strike at a decent price. Lol, my goodwill has 3 irons that look like someone’s been hitting them off the sidewalk....and that’s it!
Sometimes they go for $50 on eBay but they are hard to find in the wild!
I have that 60° sand only club you saw at the flea market, it's been in my bag for at least 20 yrs. It is my favorite sand wedge and flop shot club. Also I'm interested in the usa Taylormade bag of it's for sale! Ley me know
I bought a used titanium driver. Couldn't hit straight, a savy golfer eyed it and found a tiny caved in face. My philosophy now is range practice with old clubs, the range is mainly for swing and tempo.
Man, I had a perfect club for my first two seasons of golf, miss that club! I think I gave it to my brother when he wanted to try to get into golf, no idea where it is now... Love your guys videos!
13:48 - The cart ride is so jiggly.
He took 20 as it wasn’t his booth 😂
Haha he offered us all the clubs for free after too 😂
that's capitalisms
@@i3eau no that's theft. Capitalism is the voluntary exchange of goods or services for an agreed upon value. If the government sets the price and controls production than its socialism.
Talk about Freak Out. Jon was probably freaking out the guy holding on to the club for that long.
The old guy was great. You guys are awesome for paying him asking price. ✌️
Lol John the other ping putter maybe still laying across the golf bags 😁😂
Bought a 2 - 8 iron set of 68 VIP by Nicklaus by irons from Fuzzy. Still looking for that 9 - P to finish the set.
That first flea market looked alot like Flea Masters in Fort Myers, FL. But good finds.
I can't stop looking for thrift store golf clubs now, I'm hooked! Got a couple nice hybrids the other day, nothing fancy but I hit some bombs. Don't stop saying "woah" I can't stop saying "wow" I know people get annoyed by it but I just can't stop 😅
New to the channel and I am enjoying very much!!!! 😀😀
Thanks! Glad you enjoy the vids 👍
100 thousand by the end of the year 👍⛳
That would be an amazing holiday gift!
I wish I could pay you guys to find me a deal on some used clubs. Nothing near me and the internet is absolutely a bubble right now. You guys know just where to look and what to get.
Hi Dad!! Can’t wait to see you out on the course real soon taking on Ash head to head! Lol
Happy Easter to you both and your family. Lots of good finds. Another great video. Best Easter couple on the tube.
What a legend Fuzzy is!
I have never seen one of those old Ping putters...and we sold Ping at our golf shop!
Congrats on 50K! You have got me excited about golf again, thank you! I have my first chipper coming thanks to your videos, and possibly a new addiction on Mercari. Keep up the good work!
Nice holy grail find on the putter!!!
Happy Easter!!!
Wait. In the beginning you speak of a Scotty Cameron you got from a seller at a flea market. You said he caddied for Babe Didrikson Zaharias? She died in 1956. How old was this guy? But if he really did, WOW! She's one of the great athletes of all time.
Hey You two are awesome! Keep up the great content video's ,
Quick question for John, what brand of knee sleeve are you wearing? I've been looking for one for a while and the one you have looks like the compression is really good and it stays in place. All the ones I've tried end up sliding off or rolling down from the top and it's very annoying.
Keep it up you two, really enjoy your show. Thank you!
Happy Easter I love all yours videos
Thanks Brielle!
sick power fade off the tee at 13:35.
Happy Easter from Pittsburgh! Glad to see you found the Ping Zero putter. Your almost at 55k now. I enjoy your videos so much!
Happy Easter from Oregon... Goooooooo Steelers!!!
That wooden putter was a Stanley Thompson. Very famous golf course architect in Canada. Designed some of the best golf courses in the Country.
The clubmaker and the course architect were different Stan Thomson's but both excelled in their respective fields.
It's probably too late, but I'm desperate for a bag. How much do you want for the Taylormade bag? I'm a brand new golfer and I really need a bag. I pieced together a set of Taylormade clubs and that bag would be perfect. Please let me know.
These two are so cool, love watching.
Love the videos. You guys are really awesome. Wish there were a lot more people like you.
U guys are the best!!! Happy hunting!!! From Ky
I have one of those Bandoliner putters. Never tried it, it's gonna be a wall hanger because it's so interesting.
Can you try and get a scramble with Fuzzy/Dad against you two?
Happy Easter guys! My husband and I love your videos!😊
Thanks Lori!
Jon what are some of your grails that you have not found yet?
Yes. Bored on Easter Sunday night and see stacked golf notification woohoooo
Haha glad we could help! Happy Easter 🐇🐣 -Ash
@@StackedGolf thanks ash you to
Hope you both had a great Easter holiday!!!!
There was a Titleist Dead center at the flea markets stall with tons of golf clubs.
Really enjoyed the video. Just ate Easter dinner and this video was desert!! Happy Easter guys!
Entertaining - just curious - why do you guys play alternate shot format?
Love the channel! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Erik!
Awesome finds!!! Keep up the Great videos!!!
hey jon , do u mind telling me where that flea market is, my dad want to go look at some clubs,
I was yelling at my computer, "You found one of the missing 7 irons, buy it"!
Nice couple, good video!
