Always something to learn from Tony, simple but lovely and heart felt.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Tony....love your teaching....thanks for posting!
You're welcome! I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the lessons. 🎸🎶 ❤
@@GuitarMEI am loving this. I am terrible at guitar when you consider I have been playing for 5-6 years. I do wonder though, I am a country artist who writes their own stuff and I was wondering if I could use scales here and there with some of these techniques?
Arthritis mate I feel your pain I used too play bar chords in my old band and I used too ache like mad I used a squeeze hand apparatus and it gave me more strength in my fret hand but I got it in my face mate from having maxi facial reconstruction aft a assault with weapon glad u could adapt Dejonge rienhart lost 2 of his fret fingers in a fire and adapt amazing like this cool little vid
Thumb arthritis has forced me to lighten my touch and avoid heavy strumming, so this lesson is perfect for me. Thanks for posting!
Yes, brother it’s my left thumb, makes bar chords difficult. I nought impossible but 3 years of work has improved it’s flexibility and strength. For me light strings and low action has helped. I started learning guitar at 69 years of age I’m hoping for a late blooming experience. Hang in there.
Epsom salts soaks. Maybe lower action and use lighter gauge strings.
I Really Do Love To Hear U Play The Guitar.
❤❤❤❤❤
I Love Ur Music.
Another great short lesson Tony, fantastic teaching pal.
Thank you so much!
More like this one please!
Great stuff.. will test this out before I head to Greece for a few weeks of galavanting around. Look forward to catching up your new posts when I am back. Cheers
Thank you! Have an amazing time in Greece! 🌞
Glad you had a good showing of followers well done
I'm grateful for their support and yours! Thanks, Amigo!
Thanks, nice little riff there. I tend to not use a pick but do a lot of fingerpicking, nice one!
Thanks man!
Sounds like "Tennessee Whiskey."
This is Irish Whiskey
@@trichromatic5717 Excellent comment but it likely would be Scotch Whiskey.
Really Beautiful
Really Really Beautiful
Thank You Sir
So nice of you! Thanks man!
I love the sound of this really beautiful ❤️
I'm glad you love the sound!
Hi Tony, I like your teaching style. It's very easy to follow. Btw is this piece in the key of G or C? Thanks and God bless.
That was really nice. Thank you.
Glad you liked it! Thank you 🙏
Too much for old drummer with pork chop fingers!😬
Have a look at Slash’s fingers?!!
Hey, there's no such thing as "too much" when it comes to music! Embrace your inner rhythm and let those pork chop fingers dance across the strings. If you need any help or guidance along the way, just give me a shout. Keep on grooving! 🥁🎸
Play Chopsticks on piano 😂👍🙏
Very nice riff.
Thanks, man!
Thanks, Tone.
What guitar is this tony ?
Please demonstrate some Nashville tuning sometime
Absolutely! Thanks for the suggestion! 🎸
Love it… I’m
On it 😂🙏
Nice pickin
Cheers man!
Not in Open G tuning though Tony?
While these all sound wonderful, this is a standard tuning not open G as stated in the description.
I believe he meant the open G chord, not the tuning 🤟
Yup sorry for any misunderstanding, the title says Open G Chord Licks 😁
@@GuitarMEthat means not a bar chord
Yip or any other g form, triad etc. there’s lots of ways to play a chord but open chord licks that use fretted and open strings are special :)
Didn’t say it was g tuning. Said it was open g cord
Nice riff! Reminds me of Pink Floyd, thanks for that
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the riff. I'm honored to remind you of their style! ❤
always check out what your post is , i play most is you with a pick
Thank you I enjoyed that not just for your lick but the ideas behind it so we can create our own links...
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed not just the lick itself, but also the concepts and ideas behind it. Keep exploring!
Great teaches me a lot. Even at my ripe old 73 years.
