  • Flame Thrower® Redbud Tree - This is Amazing Tree - In this video I go over Flame Thrower® Redbuds. It is a new introduction from Denny Werner. I was lucky to shoot this at his house. I didn't even mention in the video that they are great for pollinators in the late winter. Cercis canadensis. Thanks for watching.

So glorious! Thank you for sharing.
I’m so thankful for these brilliant people who understand our God’s work.
I pray that our God in heaven will put these in the hands of righteous and humble souls who will make many cuttings and sell many seeds and saplings because they long to love others and their primary motivation is to make it so all people can afford to buy many of these, making our planet more beautiful and full of life.
    Amen

And they are extremely resilient! I was very happy that my rising sun redbud sprang back after transplant shock. It did not have a very large root ball when I moved it out and I was certain it was dead. Sure enough 3 weeks later it has sprouted new foliage and is doing great!

We planted one last fall and it has started blooming and it looks great. Yesterday we had to net it to protect it from Cicadas that are about to hit our part of the country. It's well netted so I'm hoping that they don't through to the branches. I hear they can kill a young tree like this.
