Excellent choice of scenes. I'd like to make honorable mention of a scene in the episode, "Among Friends", with Hawk and Spenser pretty much declaring war on one another. You picked two good ones from the episode where a Hawk imposter shot Marty Quirk, the scene later on when Spenser found out who the real shooter was, a guy named Tyrone Blackwell (played by the late Badja Djola) , meets with Hawk at a secret place and tells him. Hawk's response was classic!!! Great series! Long overdue for DVD

And from James Street in SWAT to Spencer for Hire: Robert Ulrich, gone too soon!
Spencer for hire was the best detective show on television... Of course Robert urich as Dan Tana in Vegas wasn't bad either
Hawk was the coolest dude back in the day!! Head to head with Fishbourne!!
Or Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes and Denzel.
I have to disagree with you some. Hawk's uniqueness was personified because of his character standing alone in the media. After the vietnam war there were many black men on the level of that depicted by hawk. They remain in the shadows.
"Myopic man"😂😂
He's actually a Theater Prof. at Rutgers. He was even before he played Hawk.
Territorial imperative! Love it!
