You have to have two pieces of equipment that are the same star level and fully leveled up to fuse that’s what the immutaball is for

can you teach me how to build my yama? i got lucky as a beginner and pulled him at step 9 so i need a proper guide and i think ur the best person can you teach me how to build yama in order? i maxed him and now the probelm is accerios etc can u teach me? i still dont understand what does sp does in bbs lol

Some characters specialize with normal attacks (the big button), and other characters specialize in the special moves. Normal attacks use ATK stat, special moves use SP stat.
For yama you want all SP (damage) and FCS (crit).
In the future you can tell what character is an ATK or SP character by looking at base stats. If it has higher atk, its a normal atk unit and SP means little to it. If it has high base SP, then vice versa.
