Then with modes they can add a "Zanpakuto character" for fun. But Bandai Namco doesn't want games like that anymore sadly

@yes correct, but that doesnt mean that specific character of Zaraki in the game is TYBW, in fact, The specific name is “Kenpachi Zaraki (CFYOW Version)”
They are part of the tybw arc. I don't know if you read the manga but the events where we learn of things like captain kuchiki tell you that it's part of the war still. Ichigo could be argued, since that form is from the no breaths from hell arc.
