- We head to the golf course with Lando Norris and Billy Monger as the McLaren driver prepares for the 2023 Formula 1 season opener in Bahrain. They talk through Lando’s expectations and targets for the year, what he got up to on his pre-season break and how it feels to no longer be the youngest driver on the team with the addition of Oscar Piastri. It also turns a little competitive as Lando attempts to coach Billy on his golfing skills.

Billy needs to be the guy to interview f1 drivers he's young was a racer and just chat like friends didn't feel like I was watching a channel 4 interview

Billy is absolutely great as an interviewer here. As others have said, he's down to earth, and also a young guy who has raced at an incredibly high level, so he's naturally on the same wavelength as Lando. The interview feels like a natural conversation, rather than an awkward exchange - that's a credit to Billy, Lando and the person who chose to have Billy interview him!
compared to other interviews this felt so incredibly natural and relaxed it felt like a normal conversation and was quite enjoyable to watch! Loved it 😄

I love the chill interview. It's not the same old boring stuff, or PR stuff we hear, but just two dudes casually golfing with an entire film crew in the middle of the night, totally normal.
Billy is such a legend. glad he is forging a career in broadcasting
Lando's laugh is one of the most infectious sounds a human can make. like at 23:03 i can help but smile every single time i hear that high pitched sound. hahaha

Think billy would have had a good racing career but he wasnt really showing the talent needed for f1

As a fellow amputee billy didn’t explain how hard it actually is to play golf as an amputee. People might laugh at his shots etc but next time you go golfing try and hit the ball without moving your legs or twisting your hips and follow through leg!!!

With McLaren's slow ass F1 cars, Lando would surely spend more of his time in golf courses this 2023 F1 season.
Should be working with the team to improve the car that's built around himself. Time to do some work instead of looking for excuses. We heard the wind tunnel excuses last year and it's still getting blamed. Oh but that's Dan's fault remember? Made as a escape goat for a trash car. Look at it now. Dan's gone and Williams has gone past it lol.

@@nilswandmaker6388 yep, oscar piastri was actually competing in that race when that incident occurred, he finished 2nd i think on that day.
