Like a "stack and tilt" player, I've found that one could compress and mash the ball really far by keeping 60-65% of the weight on the lead foot. No transferring of weight or swaying. Moving laterally before the top of the swing toward the target creates good lag and results.
Rory is listed at 5'10. Alejandro Tosti has to be the new example 186 ballspeed at 5'6. Totally bucks the long lever/moment arm trend that only tall skinny boys have a free pass to distance.
The best way to figure out your swing is to figure out your relationship to the club head and figure out how to get it to do what you want. Some people are naturals and some people it takes thousands and thousands of shots to even come close. I've been playing 8 years and only last week i figured out what i'd been doing wrong the whole time. It's all about your arms connection to your body. If that is how it should be you cannot come massively over the top, you cannot thin it, you cannot fat it. It's a feeling.
This is the first time I have heard any of this, THANKS
Your welcome
It's basically the more effort you put in the more energy you get out , but it's just a case of controlling the force's.

I like 54.83% on my front foot
54.83 to 54.86 is the right number for me. Anything outside that range, and I'm going way right.
Nothing wrong with 54.83 , it keeps er pretty straight

Not sure which is faster... my backswing or my exiting this video. 17:00 mins of, blah, blah, blah?!? I made it thru 0:30 before I bailed.
You made the correct decision. I wasted 2 whole minutes.

Nice. Glad that worked for yoi
The big question is how does that AI club head work in that illustration?
I am 69 need more distance from tee and fairways
If you set up properly everything happens automatically you do not need to fill your head with all this crap.
I think this is the Pennick, Kite and Crenshaw video you spoke about.

Thanks
This is one of those guys who make the golf swing so complicated with 368 positions and swing feels that I'd paralyze myself mid-swing.
Good grief.
No. Head deadass correct. Ballspeed jumped 11mph for me....open your ears
