What I did was move the file to a different location on my computer and without opening it again I then chose the new location on the boot camp assistant

Yes, when I got to the booting process it would tell me which partitions I could download on. The boot I needed didn’t have the drivers but I just clicked format at the bottom and it worked

Alex G once windows is fully installed you can remove your external drive and you won’t need it anymore

Yes, when I got to the booting process it would tell me which partitions I could download on. The boot I needed didn’t have the drivers but I just clicked format at the bottom and it worked
Say you were to do this on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, would you need to use an external hard drive to download Windows 10? If so, why can’t you just download the ISO image onto the MacBook itself? Any reply would be appreciated, thank you.

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately I have a iMac 2011, and my High Sierra Bootcamp doesn't even have an option to install Windows 10. Instead, I have an option for installing Windows 7 or 8 instead. I have the installation disks from ages ago, but I already lost my installation key. :( . Is there any other easy option to install Windows 10 with just a downloaded ISO?

If we delete windows partition, will it also delete Mac partition data ?? Moreover will we able to access data in MacOs partition while using Windows??
