Can we use our regular big shot with better press plate and inks to produce similar results ?
Yes, It works in a Big Shot and in the Switch. Our testing has shown that the impression from Big Shot is a bit deeper than that of the Switch, but we’ve had success with both. Enjoy and have fun.

While this looks like a nice item it reminds me of We R Memory Keepers/Makers Letterpress machine.
Do we need special paper? Is the ink special or can we use inks we already have? What type of ink is it?

seem redundent to me. How many machines do we need to do basicaly the same thing.

I have a Gemini, is it compatible with it?
No, it's not compatible with Gemini Machines. These machines are really just made for die cutting of thin dies. You can’t use Steel Rule Dies, Hot foil, BetterPress and some embossing folders. Spellbinders and Sizzix try to make the machine with greater compatibility and future expansion.
I am not getting a complete/even debossing with 3 shims. I'm using the Big Shot. I get a good transfer with the ink, but the debossing is almost nonexistent. Any suggestions?

Is your machine very well used as die cut machines can loose pressure with wear and tear
I wonder if this will work better than their foil machine? I am now on my third foil machine that will not power on after two uses! So tired of inferior products from spellbinders!
