i’ve been following since i was in 7th grade, now i’m half way through my junior year, a more mature version of sofarinrunning is just what i need to cry my eyes out
when i first stumbled upon your channel, i thought it was just some random old channel the algorithm spat at me and i clicked on. years later and im here, sitting at my computer on a school night, almost midnight, just to see this project come all this way. i cant wait to see where you guys can go, and if i was in reasonable range of idaho, i would definitely be making plans to go to that show, but i am unfortunately stuck on the east coast, so thats a bit of a bummer tbh. i also wanna mention that this band is one of the bigger inspirations for me deciding that i wanna try to put a band together. are we gonna sound bad? hell yes! but thats the fun of it, and the energy i get from this music is something i hope to one day be able to give to other people, in the same way this band did to me TL;DR- thanks for being an awesome band and making music i love to listen to. :)

So at this point I'm just working on a solo acoustic project. I wish you the best of luck, and I've been searching for a band for about 3 years now, but I know as soon as I stop worrying about it, stars will align and I'll meet the perfect bandmates! This album probably isn't the best album of all time, but this album means such an incredible amount to me. This album has gotten me through so many darker times in my life. It cheered me up when I needed it the most, and allowed me to experience consistency when I was feeling all over the place. This album is the musical equivalent of a heated blanket to me. Comforting, consistent, and impossible to get bored of. I can't get enough of this album. I love it so fucking much. Thank you, Raccoon Tour. For making my favorite album of all time.

It feels like an eternity since then, when I was still neck-deep in Twenty One Pilots and Fantano reviews. This album simultaneously shoots me back and forward at the same time. It’s both easy to say and easy to prove for me to declare that this is probably the culmination of the formative media of most of my early high school life. I’ll graduate listening to this. I got a raccoon tour t-shirt as a belated Christmas gift so in the spirit, I decided to listen to it again. i gave this album way less credit then it deserves. i just descovered your channel and honestly, this album makes me fill like you’re more of a musician than an actual content creator. usually i hate youtuber music because most of it is lazy trap pop with narcissistic lyrics. but THIS RIGHT HERE is a work of art. i love the elements of folk-rock as well as being an album where i can visually picture what’s going on. kinda like Trench by TØP (which i never knew i could compare to another album). my personal favorites are Funeral Song, Horrorshow, Mt. Helka, and Converse County. but the whole album is amazing. def top 5 albums of all time. perfect. no complaints. 10/10. keep making bangers.
