From my listening through on rehearsal mix, EG5 was playing in the first down chorus, sounded like triads centered around the D-shape A chord on the 8th fret. I had a bit of time on my hands a few weeks ago and learned and recorded each of those 9 parts myself, lol 😂 It's definitely fun to see how different people interpret and condense the 9 parts down to 1! For some reason I hadn't thought of playing the intro line as octaves even though there's 3 guitars contributing to that line
Can we expect a tutorial for this one soon? Also it would be awesome, if it’s not already there, if you guys did some tutorials on using modelers. I’ve got the FM9 but sometimes I am drowning in all the features and tweaks. I read your read me for the presets but have a hard time finding some of the suggested changes for tweaking to your gear. There’s like 4 or 5 different areas to change “Input Drive(Gain)” in one amp block alone lol. I played electric in HS but that was 20 years ago so I’m not used to all this new fangled technology... After HS I mainly played acoustic and lead worship.
Can you talk about the chord shapes you're using in the chorus at 2:09? That's a super common area of the guitar for worship guitarists to play chords in and I've never been able to figure out exactly what fingerings they're using.

Is it possible to get a tab for this version? Every chord chart I am finding has different voicing for the chords but I love the way you are playing this! Doesn't have to be a tab but just a listing of the chord voicing, the chorus in particular.
I am considering buying a Line 6 Helix floor, but I have seen many videos on RUclips talking about how the Helix is now getting older in 2024, compared to its rivals like the Quad Cortex(in terms of processing power and onboard DSP). I find myself comfortable with the workflow and features of Helix. Should I wait for any upcoming Helix 2.0 or should I just go for it blindly?

Great playing, great song, but seems so unusual --from the perspective of someone who has never gone to a "rock concert" at a church service-- This would be so distracting to me from the purpose of prayer/worship. I'd buy tickets.....but not as part of a worship service. This impressive music would be entertaining but not necessarily prayerful.

Not you to do your best for them HE WANTS YOU. Understand what I’m saying. He doesn’t want another Jeremy camp, he’s already got one. He doesn’t need another Phil whickham, he’s already got one, and to tell you the truth, they’re just trying to fill a role that’s already been played before. Write your own songs bro, I’m telling you, Jesus loves that. A song for him straight from your heart. That’s worship. Not this irreverent cash grabbing trash on the radio. Even in Latin, I wish I could remember the exact definition and context, but the Latin word for worship that was originally in the Bible means get creative and do it with joy. This entire life is about your heart. You can actually feel if it’s severely damaged or healed. If it’s never been damaged, you won’t notice it, but you’ll also be in the best spot you can be in. Just don’t forget what the actual purpose of worship is. Too many people make “worship” tik toks that has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with attention. It’s weak. Plenty of Christians online, not a whole lot actually preaching the gospel outside of church in person.
