@@athenashorts3475 I was progressing really good. Ealier this year I was traininh with rings in the park and achieved being able to do multiple muscle ups and 17pullups/51pushups/15Ring Dips. During this time a was also cutting weight so I was like 11% bodyfat. I also started training for the frontlever and made some really fast progress. Sadly I then injured my right elbow during a muscle up so I wasnt able to train for 8 weeks. Now I am currently trying to slowly get into training again whilst still getting treatment for my elbow. This is quite frustrating as I am now able to do like 3 sets of 6-7pullups instead of 4x10 and muscle ups. During my recovery time I am currently not focusing on Calisthenics and using a lot of machines so I can isolate muscle groups without damaging my elbow more. The elbow injury was rather unfortunate but shits happens. I will continue rebuilding and hopefully get back to training front lever and handstand Pushups at the end of the year. How is your training going?
I like your mindset of providing us with set numbers, but no repetitions, keeping the reps personal. Not only does it help us with customization, but it will also give us confidence over time at improving upon ourselves. Thank you for this video and the Free Calisthenics E-Book!
Thanks Derek - your instruction is really fantastic, very clear, high quality, perfect amount of time spent explaining and demonstrating each thing, and your English is very good. Really top notch stuff - thank you!! My fave new channel find :)
this is the first video I´ve seen from this chanel, (I'm late I know) and it took just one minute for me to suscribe. Thank you so much for your effort to make this video happen. Lot of valuable information, hard to find, I've seen several videos for begginers but this one has been the most enriching.
First time i saw your vid bro and this is amazing. Thought it will be just any other "calisthenics-guru-wannabe" but your content is actually awesome. Props to you, man! 😊
I just start calisthenics for about 3 month and my weight increase and now my BMI is normal. The time I can do push-up without stopping also increase from 14 to 45! But all I did so far is push-up and jog for about 20 minutes in the morning.
Great Vidéo bro! Really liked your explanations, they were clear to the point and very well adapted to beginners! I live in krakow, Hope to run into one of your trainings in the coming week, when the lockdown is over!
First Video, that i watched from you. And I think it's almost perfect, you're really telling the truth. Very nice Video, it has very important points in it :)
Thanks Darek for this video. I really need it because I begin calisthenic. It's really hard but I appreciate the work of full body control. Thanks again for your work 😎😎😎😎

Hi, I want to start calisthenics . I can do basic workouts like push ups, squats, planks etc up to 4 sets. But don’t know hole long should I do it and what’s the next move.
I have a question according sets (since I'm a beginner) : How are they done? Do I make one set of pull ups - rest - set of pull ups... Or is it one set of pull ups - rest - push ups - rest - dips and so on... Or am I doing a set of all exercises - rest - repeat? It seems like every tutor is telling different things on that. What would the community recommend to a beginner? Sry for bad language, English is not my native language ^^ And thank you for the video!
Good vid, thanx... BUT. Hollow body is proven to be dangerous AND CAN DAMAGE YOUR BACK FASTER THAN YOU THINK. Until you have a strong lower back, hollow body is very very stressful for the lower back... discs and so....
if we do this push pull legs schedule, should we work out 6 times per week, two workouts each? I just started calisthenics a month ago and have been doing a 4 day a week upper lower split.
Great video bro I was always into weight but I don’t wanna be doing weights and be all stiff I’ll rather do calisthenics and be able to scratch my back and stuff yk😂😂 but fr I made the change to calisthenics so thank you your the one that inspired me too and btw how tall are you?
darek, I am imspired with your calisthenics ideas and thoughts. I have been doing calisthenics for about 5 months now. still doing basics, and starting a few advanced skills. (example, handstand push-ups against the wall.) my basics are getting better and stronger except my pull-ups. my pull-up area is weak, what can I do to improve my pull-ups?
You definitely can build strong and big legs with calisthenics. Have you tried pistol squats or shrimp squats? Have you tried doing them on an elevated object? It's not easy and these progressions are hard enough to stay in 'strength' range (1-5 repetitions) :)
Dzbanek Yes I have and still stand by with what I said in video. The intensity will be not high enough to get optimal progress at SAME POINT and of course you can get a volume to grow them but by working high reps that is going to be really ineffective in LONG TERM perspective. As I said you can develop decent strength and some muscle mass but after sometime each of us will notice that it’s not the best way to train legs and can be easily optimized by additional weights. But the choice is up to one’s! :)
Of course it's not optimal in the long term but by the time the intensity of these exercises is not enough for someone, they would already, as i said, have rather big and strong legs. Don't you agree?
Yo bro, lots of people are asking for breath toturial, make some it'll give you a youtube popularity boost! Edit:This is what I see from comments under lots of videos
